Pri or to ap plication the surface must be i n S aturated Surface Dr y (SSD) condition. MIXING A dd powde r to liquid (2 parts powder & 1 part liquid) slowly while stirring. In c ase of bulk volume u se mechanical stirrer . M ix the en tire qua ntity until a s mooth homog eneous slurry without lump is achieved. K eep the slurry undistur bed for 5-6 minutes to relea se entrapped a ir du ring mixing. APPLICATIO N PROCEDURE STEP 1 STEP 3 STEP 4 STEP 5 STEP 6 Apply SmartCare Damp Block 2K slurry by brush or roller over SSD masonry/brick surface It is essential to cure SmartCare Damp Block 2K/overlay screed for a minimum of 3 to 5 days to ensure full cement hydration Allow the 1 st coat to dry for 4-6 hrs (drying depends on ambient temperature) and then apply 2 nd coat The 1st coat & 2nd coat must be applied in perpendicular direction for better results Achieve a coverage of 15 sq.ft./kg/coat STEP 2 If the application is being done on bricks, overlay of cementitious screed within 24 to 48 hrs. For screeding use SmartCare Vitalia as an integral waterproofing compound
