Our products help maintain the safety of public, private, commercial and historic buildings worldwide.Trading since 1962, we have become a familiar and trusted brand for the UK construction industry. A family run company for many years, PFC Corofil was acquired in 2008 becoming part of the Encon Group of companies, which recognised the pedigree and quality of our products and the technical expertise of our team.
Our products are independently fire tested and are subject to a voluntary ongoing third-party certificate scheme which defines the scope of use, carries out factory audits and random fire tests to ensure that the highest standards of production are maintained. PFC Corofil has increasingly taken a more holistic outlook with respect to all technical enquiries, highlighting the fire resistance, acoustic and air tightness properties of our products.

C144 Strips provide firestopping for horizontal and vertical linear joints up to 300mm in masonry walls and floors.

SERVICE PENETRATIONS
Coated Panel System is used to firestop mechanical, electrical and plumbing services when they pass through fire rated walls.

Putty Pads are designed to protect electrical switches and sockets with plastic or metal back boxes that penetrate one or both faces of a flexible partition.

SEALANTS
Intumescent Acoustic Sealant is designed to be used to seal linear gaps in horizontal and vertical constructions. It can also be used in conjunction with the Coated Panel System and to seal around service penetrations.
Fire rated for up to 240 minutes.

High Expansion Intumescent Sealant is used to seal around single or multiple services to reinstate the fire performance of concrete floors and flexible or rigid walls.

Universal Wrap is designed to seal penetrations containing plastic and metallic pipes, including insulated pipes. It is suitable for use in the Coated Panel System, flexible walls and concrete floors. The one product fits pipe sizes 32mm to 250mm.

Insulated Fire Sleeves are suitable to replace the insulation on various plastic and metal pipes where they pass through flexible walls, masonry ways and concrete floors. Sizes range from 17mm to 169mm.
