An integrated function to ensure efficiency by producing light only when required through PIR (Passive Infrared Sensors) that uses ambient light sensors & motion detectors or Microwave Sensors that detect motion through materials without direct line of sight required.

A function that enables smooth adjustment of light to desired level based on the time from the last detected movement.

A unique function that enables coordination & control of functionality for series of connected luminaires via remote devices. Signals are sent to the luminaires regardless of obstacles and obstructions from a transmitter to a receiver integrated in the luminaire.

Our RLS LED boards are specifically developed with 2 different colour LED chips at 2700K and 6500K both on their own individual circuit. The percentage ratio of current changes between the 2 circuits to get the desired colour.

PLC technology is used to enable customised programming of unique patterns, direction, speed, timeframe and specialised sequences in a luminaire.

Integration of Dali Dimmable interoperability that consists of a set of commands to ensure consistent dimming performance throughout all luminaires. Luminaires can be individually addressable and therefore multiple control zones can be established.

A specialised thermal management component (NTC) Negative Temperature Coefficient that will send a signal to the LED driver to reduce the output current to the LED's in the event that a predetermined temperature is exceeded. The NTC will reduce the current in order to reduce the heat.

Emergency Lighting Control Technology

Integrated emergency lighting ensures that there is a sufficient back-up light source provided promptly, automatically and for a suitable time in the event that the normal mains power supply fails.

SHOP LIGHTING

At RLS we offer a complete range of efcient luminaires

with different mounting options to meet our client's

stringent requirements and creative ideas. Our large in-

house design team and large in-house manufacturing

capabilities enable a completely customized solution for

almost all applications. The CRI (colour rendering index) of >85 is advisable

however this in itself is not enough in today's shop lighting

environment. We offer below the black body LEDs of the

white chromatically index to enhance the visual effects

of different product. Colour Rendering Index has

however become a limited colour matrix as it is not a

measure of colour saturation and alternative measure is

Gamit Area Index. This is a measure of the colour range,

the vivid colour appearance, this metric combined with

CRI is better to quantify colour quality. Regent's standard

products are delivered with 2 - Step Mac Adam ellipse, to

ensure colour performance matching for the most

demanding applications

Specic and detailed design is required to ensure that the

correct effect is created which in turn means that there is

no need to offer coloured lters, instead we have the

ttings to offer the right light spectrum for a specic

application in order to engage the senses of the shopper

to improve and enhance the overall shopping

experience. Photometrical characteristics are critical as construction

and density of display can vary in stores. It is imperative to

offer the correct light distribution for different displays and

with 5 beam options on certain products, multiple

applications can be achieved by an individual tting. To create the desired lighting effect, we partner with our

clients to provide a complete solution, not simply

supplying a product. Our Shop lighting range of products

are developed taking into account critical factors such

as quick and effortless installation, thermally protected

drivers, exceptional thermal management with heat sink,

efcient optical systems, protective housing for LED and

most importantly the colour stability of the LED.

Creating visual interest, or enhancing the detail of a specic product can dene a retail shop lighting scheme. At

RLS (Regent Lighting Solutions) we have a real passion for efcient retail shop lighting. We do not just sell a great

product but enhance an overall customer experience.

Lighting is a critical element in the branding and positioning of product and the overall lighting effect must

complement the entire retail shop design. Contrary to common belief, more illumination does not create the visual

comfort to accentuate product.

OFFICE LIGHTING

People spend most of their day at work, and most of the time at their

desks, this is why ofces and functional areas require effective

lighting. Regent has combined stylish luminaire design with the latest

LED technology to create light ttings for diverse ofce applications.

The biological clock, also called the circadian rhythm (from the Latin

circa dies, "about a day") and plays an important role in regulating

wakefulness and sleep. If we can help that clock, we can help

people feel better. By designing great lighting systems, lighting can

help increase concentration and motivation and to improve well-

being.

The correct lighting can positively impact emotions and how people

feel about their space that is why Regent's ofce luminaires are the

ideal lighting solution for any ofce. A lighting solution must cater for

the people and their needs, this means you need to strike a balance

between the individuals freedom to make adjustments and the

automated intervention. By focusing on lighting requirements with a

large number of ttings and using technology we are able to ensure

that the appropriate lighting is achieved throughout the ofce.

Lighting control is an efcient way to save energy and provide light

at the right place and at the right time, examples of this would be

daylight harvesting which is self managing according to the incident

of daylight or motion control.

Our range of ofce lighting offers a positive experience to the user,

however ensuring that the correct tting is specied for the

appropriate application is of the utmost importance as with the

advent of LED technology glare control has become an event more

important factor.

Our ofce range of luminaires cater for various environments from

our Luxon range with <19 UGR to our Signa range for more glare

sensitive ofce environment where UGR range of <16 - <18 is

required.

We develop LED solutions based on the latest research that are

tested thoroughly in our in-house lighting laboratory, where we make

use of the latest expertise and equipment. This allows us to ensure

that all standards are achieved and exceeded.

fittings can accommodate most design style

applications. The extruded aluminium housing

offers a precise in- l ine appearance that

compliments open space design plans. Whether it

be recessed into a ceiling or wall, surface mounted

or simply suspended, our linear fittings are suitable

to meet the needs of all design requirements.

Continuous linear lines provide a unique solution

when creating a flow from one space to another

Lightings in not purely for functional applications but serves as a design element in almost all environments. Lighting systems will in most cases require a system design layout accompanied by a lighting design to ensure correct light levels and overall lighting effects are achieved.

With ever changing lighting requirements on projects, lighting systems allow exibility and most importantly a variation of lighting levels with the same lighting systems. In many applications contrast of lighting plays a critical role in enhancing products or objects. The days of offering uniform lighting levels in an shop lighting environment have long passed.

Directional lighting with specic beam angles, spot lights or surface adjustable down lights to highlight objects with higher illumination levels and incorporating this with standard Linear down lighting enables the lighting designer to offer the correct levels of light in specic areas.

Glare control can also be enhanced by selecting the correct xtures and placing these in the appropriate areas. Being able to adjust or move specic ttings is important to enable the tenant to change the layout of merchandise and within the same lighting system make the necessary adjustments to ensure the correct lighting levels are maintained in the correct areas.

With Regent design and manufacturing capabilities we offer bespoke Lighting Systems that can incorporate a variety of our xtures to ensure the appropriate efciency to meet our clients requirements.

A specialised thermal management component (NTC) Negative Temperature Coefficient that will send a signal to the LED driver to reduce the output cur rent to the LED ' s in the event that a predetermined temperature is exceeded. The NTC will reduce the current in order to reduce the heat.

At RLS (Regent Lighting Solutions) we create external lighting

that provide a desirable lighting effect that makes people

feel safe and secure, provide increased traffic safety and

aesthetically enhance the building and surrounding

environment.

Through the use of lighting control, we can ensure the correct

light output in the required place at the right time, with the

obvious benefits of superior energy efficiency. Light must

create a positive experience to those who interact under

artificial lighting and this creates a uniqueness for each

project in that specific lighting solutions are required.

Interaction between our sales consultants and our in-house

design office affords RLS the opportunity to offer a lighting

design that will enhance all amenity areas.

Africa as a whole is emerging both technologically and in

commerce, when darkness falls, lighting offers a sense of

security and enhances the aesthetic appeal of the emerging

architectural landscape. A wide selection of lensing options

and optics allows RLS to offer a variety of distribution patterns

to accommodate most applications with the same fitting, for

example footpaths, car parks, streets, landscapes and cycle

paths.

Lighting controls can reduce energy and offer the

appropriate lighting at any given time. Different luminaries

offering a wide range of luminous flux, colour temperatures

enables a wider variety of options for the designer than was

ever possible with conventional luminaires.

LEDs are semiconductor devices which convert electricity

into visible light and are the ideal light source to achieve

visual comfort and energy efficient light distribution,

provided they are incorporated into exceptionally well

designed housings that offer the correct thermal

management characteristics

Our internal operational and design facilities enable the

customising of existing fittings and the ability to develop

bespoke fittings, this has been the facilitator to accelerate

our rapid product development over recent years. Amenity

lighting has changed dramatically over the past 4 years and

at RLS we have been at the forefront of these developments,

we will continue to improve our offering of innovative

products that push the boundaries of what new technologies

allow us to develop.

Our bollard lighting range consists of fittings with both symmetrical and asymmetrical light distribution and a
