Objective:

• Countrywide standardization of fiber optic connectivity

• Replace copper by fiber for all signals

• Use existing FO infrastructure in stadium

Proposal Decision:

• 4 channel system, no multichannel due to complexity and cost, but splitting

Pros and Cons:

+ Same cable for different applications

+ Transmitting of large data over longer distances

+ FO is future proof (1080p, UHDTV)

- Breakdown of one cable – loss of several connections and huge data
