To change from Infill NB into a Desk top panel (Rezon or ND), you have to click on the yellow triangle to remove it. And then go to component bar Zonit to get a Rezon desk top panel (1 module high). News in Configura version v22

New icon when you log in Configura

Now you can read news directly in the Log In dialog Place your mouse over the red text: Do not forget to read the latest news! And click. Then automatically a PDF file will open with the information about the news. Once this is done the red text will be blue and the text is changed to: Latest News, but you still can by clicking on this text to come back to the same newsletter as before. The newsletter is updated with each new version.

Information about the settings in the new version

In the dialogue Kinnarps preferences as appears after you log, we have now two new links with instructions on what settings to be done after you have installed anew version or for new installation. The top is the instructions for "light" users (those who do not use Movex as ERP) And the other is for Tango users (who use Movex as ERP) Note that these instructions are not with passwords or Movex identities as these are unique for each agency / country and should not be visible to all. These local settings are now a new feature, see next page

Local instructions on the toolbar

At the end of the toolbar is now a new icon, it is a i which stands for Information, This is a function in which all countries can provide sales rep access to local information, such as local procedures and rules that a seller should consider when creating online quote / order. You click on the icon and up comes a document, if the local Configura/Movex expert hasn’t written any information; it will produce a page that tells you that no local information is available. This information is your local country Configura / Movex experts who are responsible for. They write down all the instructions and send to Kinnarps which then makes sure to add these into the function of information.

Now there are only four blocks of text in the print dialog Nowadays there are only four text blocks, text blocks have also changed little in looks. Wrap is made automatically to match the transfer rate to Movex.

Now you can calculate and offer financing directly in Configura Only for Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Now we have expanded the cooperation with De Lage Landen and made it possible to direct the Configura to estimate what it would cost the customer to choose the financing of the furniture on request. As default it is checked for: Show financing quote Click Settings for the financing and the next dialog (see picture below) will appear Automatically taken offering's net price into the dialogue, then it's just that via the "tick boxes" and roll bars to make your choices. NOTE: Do not forget Kickback! When you are finished, presses OK, it generates a text with general values and some general terms, this text goes directly under the "total summary box". New icon for the mass update existing furniture in the drawing

The first icon under headline: Existing, Alternative and Warehouse under tab: Accessory component etc can mass update existing furniture, it works the same way as a "Select Rectangle”, Click on the icon drag it onto the drawing area, click it into the top left corner of the furniture you want to select as existing, hold the mouse button down and stretch out and when you have surrounded all the furniture to be marked as existing then you release the mouse button.

New colours on the snap pointers Green snap point: tables are linked, legs removed/ moved, changed beams and connections Yellow snap point: tables are not linked, no change has occurred, the table is only standing next to each other Red snap point: tables can not be linked because of some rules that say that the tables in this version can not be linked. Less dialogs and settings to "click" away / in

We have once again gone through the program and tried to remove as many unnecessary dialogues and options in the display dialogue requiring an OK to speed up your work.

New Field in Customer Dialogue: Industries Field Industries comes as a new field in the customer dialogue, second tab Quote / Order, in the first column under the field customergroup. If you get an existing customer, this is only to be an information box If you use the function: Drawing Unique customer, the field will be open with a drop-down list (see list below) where you have to specify which branch the customer belongs. This information will be included in the copy as text. New fields in customer dialogue Key Account No

Key Account nr: Only for international key account customers. Located in customer dialogue, in the second tab: Quote / Order under Customer Order Number Is there a Key Account number stated on the customernumber, the field is closed (information only) If the field is empty when you collect a customer the field will be writable. The value you specify in the field to an existing customer is sent to Movex. • Hidden in the quote • Appearing on print orders, placed under: Customer Order Number • Copy in the Copy as text in the client dialogue

The Kinnarps GmbH articles

A number of products from Kinnarps GmbH will now be available in Configura. The products in question are mento, salida, filio, Collection C and Collection E in limited variants. Where the Kinnarps GmbH articles could be found in Configura… Since these articles are working as articles from other suppliers than Kinnarps AB they are placed among these articles. Select lower tab ‘M NC SF’ (this tab will most likely change name in future versions) and then select the icon for Kinnarps GmbH… The base price for these German products is the German gross price in EUR; all other prices have to be calculated from this pricelist. A solution which on the surface looks like our current solution for price calculation with products from external suppliers will be used. The difference is that instead of forcing each and one of the Configura users to add and maintain correct multipliers this work is centralized and responsible people from each country have to specify and maintain this data. As soon as this data have been added into Configura the products will be available in the program. Three criteria must be fulfilled for Configura users to get access to drawing and quote for these products. 1st Kinnarps GmbH must agree that your country should / must sell their products. 2nd Current country product manager must accept that they want to work with the German products. 3rd Multiplier factors must be specified for a product / sales manager for each country.

If the external supplier and local product manager are not to say ok, the products will not be visible in the program. If the first two criteria are fulfilled but no conversion factors are given these products will be draw able but only seen in 2D layouts and 3D images, but not to be included in the offer. A red triangle and specific tool tip will in such a situation is shown in 2D. When an old drawing contains German articles is opened, and the conversion factors have changed, it will be a warning that you should update to the new, see image 1 below. To update to the new conversion factors, click the box in the Fix column, and finish by clicking the button 'Update to the current data', see image 2 below. This button is grayed out until you have chosen to fix. If the old conversion factors still apply, it is to continue to run them by instead selecting button 'Proceed with old data

The equivalent warning appears if there is a new price list than the one saved in the drawing that opens. In this version this two new warnings are in a new tab in the dialogue: Verify drawing (See image 3). The tab is called: Prices, this you probably do not need to open manually to check for new multiplier factors or a new price list because the program automatically will "pop up" the dialogue when it is needed. Only for Tango users

The setting Kinnarps Movex users and displayed (downloaded) stock price lists remain after installing new version. We will submit the English translation of all external drawings object when we send the order into Movex, this order to all exporting countries do not have to sit and write English translations of all external drawings in order to send their purchase order in Movex. Unfortunately, this does not work for suppliers Glimåkra and Luxo.
