The FCD 300 comes in a highenclosure class, IP66, to withstand normalcleaning methods. The design offersa smooth cleaning friendly surface withoutany difficult to clean spots. The The VLT® Decentral Motor StarterDMS 300 is part of the Danfoss decentral motorcontrol concept with a common mechanical design.

Variable speed applications using the decentralfrequency converter (FCD 300) can be usedtogether with fixed speed applications using astarter or soft starter.

MCD 100 is a cost effective andextremely compact soft starterfor AC motors up to 11 kW.Due to a unique semiconductordesign MCD 100 is a true “fitand forget” product. Selectioncan be made on the basis ofthe motor power – exactly aswith traditional contactors.

Due to extensive use of the latesttechnology, such as new semi-conductor control algorithms andbypass design, the new softstarters are very compact andheat dissipation is at a very lowlevel. The VLT® MCD 3000 softstarters cover the powerrange 7,5 – 800 kW.

MCD 3000 is a total motorstarting solution. Currenttransformers measure the motorcurrent and provide feedback forcontrolled motor voltage rampup, but also for numerous motorprotection functions.A numeric display and logickeypad buttons makesprogramming easy andoperational status such as motorcurrent is shown via the display.
