Concept To design a visual identity and promotional material for a new typography exhibition. My intention was to communicate to a group of tourists, designers, creative professionals and the general public who are interested in type in an informative way.

Range A resolution to the range was an exhibition guide. The publication is of A5 landscape format and is printed on 130 gsm matt and the cover on 245 gsm matt.

Alan Kitching is one of the worldʼs foremost practitioners of letterpress typographic design and printmaking. Alan Kitching is renowned

for his expressive use of wood and metal letterforms in creating visuals for commissions

and his own limited edition prints.

Fletcher designed the ʻBaseline Wrap Posterʼ for the Baseline International Typographic

Magazine issue no.29 in 1999.

PSL is located in Leeds city centre, just 5 minutes walk from Leeds Train Station, along the Waterfront Walk or alternatively along Aire Street and Whitehall Road.

Directions using the Waterfront Walk: At the train station take the exit located in the North Concourse. Cross directly over the road, youʼll see the river on your left and continue down some steps onto the Waterfront Walk. Follow the path just beyond the footbridge until you reach PSL.

Opening times: PSL is open Wednesday-Saturday 12-5pm.

Parking: They are paying car parks at Whitehall Waterfront and Leeds Train Station.

Access: PSL is accessible to wheelchair users. We have separate female, male and accessible toilets.
