Our products are patented by us and are made using the best possible components picked from all over the world. Tucana light products are very rugged, with easy functionality and designed for an estimated life of almost 20 years (@8 hrs. per day). Elec-tronic components of Tucana products are guaranteed for 2 years and mechanicals for 10 years from date of purchase. However, if at all the need arises for servicing; it is simple and easy by our well trained technicians or at the dealers place.

Highly energy efficientTucana Bay lights are highly efficient lighting devices, which will save you up to 70% energy cost over con-ventional lighting, like Tube lights, CFL, Metal halide lights or Mercury lights. This is primarily because of the fact that by design, our LED produces 130-140 lumen of light per watt. Secondly, LED throws light only in front direction, unlike other light sources, which send out light in all directions. And thirdly, all conven-tional light sources loose light producing capacity at the rate of 1-3% per 100 burning hours, while our LM-80 certified LEDs will lose about 25% over 50,000 hours or 20 years

Very long lifeOver and above that the light life can be 50-80,000 hrs. (20-30 years) depending upon usage conditions. While conventional lighting sources deteriorate in light output by almost 50% in 6000 hours, LED will give you more than 75% rated light output even after 20 years (50,000 HRS).Vast voltage rangeOur Bay light is designed to function at any voltage from 110 volt to 300 volt! If the voltage goes beyond 300 volt, the lights will automatically shut down, till the voltage returns to normal.

Surge protection The device is also protected against the surges up to 3KVA. If you are in an area with higher surge occurrenc-es, we suggest you should install a central surge guard circuitry at the main electrical junction of your facility.

Brite anodized, rugged and purest aluminium bodyThe light is housed in purest of Aluminium grade 1101, body which has very high reflectivity and conductiv-ity. Apart from that the reflector is very heavy duty, which doubles up as Heat sink (our patented technology), and also as a protective armour for the LED source. It has bright finishing and then anodized to make the shine permanent.

Oven baked Silicone coloursTucana’s Coloured body Architectural lights are additionally painted with Silicone colours, which are oven baked at 2700C, to give life time of vibrant colour.

Optical Grade Light protector cum diffuserTucana’s Patented design light cover/ diffuser is made using Bayer, Germany’s optical grade, UV resistant Polycarbonate. This high strength polymer fitting is available in either hot spot free diffuser or Industrial grade clear fitting. This cover is aesthetically engineered and perfectly synchronized with the fitting to make the LED source immune to Humidity and moisture.

High performance LED light driverLED driver is the heart of LED lights. Our team of scientist have designed and perfected the driver to give the most reliable driver. The driver has Efficiency of about 90%, Power factor> 98%, Total harmonic distortion under 10%, Surge protection of 4.5 KVA, Voltage tolerance of 110-300 volt, temperature withstanding capac-ity of 80o C, and is tropically tested in hot environment of 45o C. and humidity above 80%RH.

How to activate the light?1. Provide for a rugged hook close to the electrical connection, where you wish to suspend the light. 2. Please switch of the electricity through the electrical point, and test the wire using a electricity tester. 3. The light can then be wired directly using the 110/230 volt 50 Hz electrical line. Insulate the cables using certified electrical insulation tape.

Precautions and Care1. Do not install the light in areas which become very hot and are not properly ventilated.2. In case of non IP-65 certified products, use indoors and keep away from any source of slash or rains.3. Keep the power supply of while installation or while uninstalling4. Keep it out of reach of children5. Wipe with soft, clean and moist cloth whenever the lights get dirty or dusty. Accumalated dirt or bird drop-pings can reduce heat dissipation and can affect light’s performance.

Warranty CertificateWe certify, that the LED supplied by Tucana are made free of any defects, properly tested, individually quality checked and then released for market. However, in any case if there is any failure in the product functionality, within 2 years from the date of Invoice, the same would be rectified without any expense. In case the date of Invoice is not found accurately, the warranty period would be considered as 26 months from Date of Manufac-turing the repairs would be either done by the dealer, through the dealer or it can be shipped to our appropriate office, warehouse of Tucana lights for repairs.Any physical damage to the product arising out of mishandling, or electrical damage because of usage other then as specified and approved, is not covered in warranty. However all the mechanical parts of the light are guaranteed for 10 years against any manufacturing defect or failure under standard usage.
