To begin with I added the picture I was going to use . In the same way I did with my content page images. I had previously manipulated the picture in Photoshop to get it the way I wanted.

Next I added my pull quotation and some by lines at the bottom. Then I coloured them blue to match my house colour scheme

After I added my article to the double page spread, altering its size so it would fit in. I also added a drop capital to begin it. Then I centralised the questions to separate them from answers and gave them the colour of my house colour

Next I added the remainder of the text for the double page spread. I made the headline standout by re-adjusting the size of letters and making the ‘x’ blue.

Finally, I added the last three features of the double page spread. The page number, a capital ‘d’ which would represent my masthead on the double page spread and a barcode containing the magazine’s website. I did this by grouping together the image of the barcode and the text.
