1. In 2010, Head of a training project in the school contest entitled “Mille Domande una sola Europa” (One thousand questions, one single Europe) organized for the Secondary Schools in the Marche Region, in collaboration with the Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione - Ufficio scolastico regionale Direzione generale, Regione Marche – Autorità di Gestione del Por Fesr Marche 2007-2013, Rappresentanza della Commissione europea in Italia and the support of Ministero alle Politche comunitarie. The project included 150 hours of didactic activity in High Schools of Marche Region, 5 provincial competitions and 2 regional competitions.
2. 2009, he partecipates in the “IN-HOPE” Project, approved by the European Commission, within programme Comenius Regio, presented with the partnership of Marche Region Board of Education and the 12 schools in the programme “l’Europa dell’istruzione” (The Europe of Education).
3. 2009, he participates in the project approved by the European Commission entitled “Consumer protection. Judicial and out-of-court remedies between national law and European law”, presented by “Osservatorio per le strategie europee sulla crescita e l'occupazione” of Roma 3 University, within the Jean Monnet Action.
4. 2009, he participates in the project approved by the European Commission and presented by AUSE – University Association of European Studies –concerning a survey involving 22 Italian Universities on the subject “Gli studenti universitari italiani e l’Unione europea: conoscenza, percezione ed aspettative” (Italian University Students and the European Union: knowledge, awareness and expectations).
5. 2008, within the Jean Monnet Action (Research) he works for the University of Padua project entitled: “The role of sport in the European union – impegno sociale, impatto economico e lotta contro il doping (The role of sport in the European Union – social commitment, economic impact and fight against doping).
6. 2008, he participates (in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacology of the University of Urbino) in the research project (Marche Region) financed by CIPE with resolution 20/2004, entitled: “Innovazione nella commercializzazione del miele vergine attraverso la formulazione di una etichetta di qualità” (Innovative commercilization of raw honey through the design of a quality lebel) focused on the European laws on labels (information) for consumers.
7. 2007, on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Programme, he is head of a European research (carried out through a survey involving all the students who took part in the programme from the University of Urbino and to the students who were attending the twentieth anniversary in Brussels) on the results of the programme that were presented to the Commission on the Erasmus day.
8. 2007, for the European Commission, he coordinates the communication project designed for the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the signature of the treaty of Rome called “50 ANNI d’EUROPA: più opportunità meno frontiere” (50 YEARS OF EUROPE: more opportunities, less frontiers).
9. 2006, he partecipates in the project “V.E.N.E.R.A.: “Vecchia Europa, Nuova Europa, reazioni all’Allargamento” (Old Europe, new Europe, reactions to EU enlargement”), approved by the European Commission –DG Enlargement, within the Prince Programme, that involved women, senior citizens, and young people about their knowledge of the EU topics and the enlargement to CEEC countries.
10. 2005, he participates in the pre-industrial research project financed by CIPE called PROFSICURI that involves CNR and ten Italian Universities.

4. 2001 – 2010, responsible for the agreement with the local Industrial Technical College that includes a series of courses on the EU integration process currently underway for students attending the last three years of studies.
5. 2006 – 2010, responsible for the agreement with Urbania Mountain Community for the organization of an annual event on EU topics having the highest impact on the territory.

Graduated at the University of Urbino, with a final result of 110/110. Dissertation entitled: “Bureaucracy and Political Power”, discussed with Professor Lawyer Mariangelo Massi. Specialized - High formation - in: “European Law”, University of Urbino, Law Faculty. Professor Pierini has participated in more than 30 thematic sessions and courses organized by the European Community Institutions in Italy (Rome, Milan, etc.) and in Europe (Brussels, Strasbourg, Bruges, Madrid, etc.) In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 he has collaborated with AUSE Summer School - European Community Studies Association in Venice, Imperia, and Catania, Genova.
5. Summary of the most important scientific publications
Over the last few years he has published numerous articles and essays in local magazines, journals, and newspapers about European Law, agrarian and commercial law. Here is a list of the most important publications:
1. Book: “Lisbona, il volto dell’Europa che cambia”, Marcello Pierini, Aras Edizioni, Fano, 2011. The book is composed of 4 parts: “Da Laeken al Trattato di Lisbona. Strumenti e politiche della nuova Europa”; 3 appendix: Monograph on the 21 father that founded Europe; The main steps of the european integration process from 1948 to 2011; publication of the posters showing the European history.
2. DVD: La Politica di coesione economico sociale e territoriale in Europa e nelle Marche, DMP Concept, Senigallia (AN), 2011. Prof. Pierini is author of the texts and scientific responsible for the DVD: it was realised on behalf of Marche Region and it is composed of four parts: “La politica di coesione nell’Unione europea”, “La nuova strategia Europa 2020”, Il Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale FESR – nella Regione Marche”, “Progetto Mille domande, una sola Europa”.
