Competency Based Learning ● After last year’s work within the Personalized Learning
Committee honing the ELA and Math competencies and this summer’s work in which a team of teachers created progressions for students in grades K through 8, Pattonville will pilot assessing students on their ELA and Math competencies. Groups of teachers at Remington, Drummond, and Holman will begin this work this year.

New Math Materials
New Assessments that align closer to the state standards
Secondary● After researching new math materials last year, teachers
are taking part in training to learn best practices and how to use the resources to meet students’ individualized needs. New supports will allow teachers to meet struggling learners where they are in their learning to help them gain proficiency.
