What the Course DeliversShort Term Programs in CSR aims to enable learners to integrate CSR best practices into key business areas through case

studies, interactive discussions and analytical presentations. This will also enable greater understanding of how to mitigate

negative impacts of business activities on the environment and identify opportunities that could simultaneously benefit both

society and the organization.

IICA: NFCSRThe Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) – the principal institution engaging with all aspects of the corporate world in India, is established by and affiliated to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It serves as a think-tank, action research, service delivery and capacity building institute for all corporate entities and professionals. The National Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (NFCSR) housed within the IICA, is the premier center for enabling Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the country.

In light of the enactment of Section 135, Companies Act 2013 – on CSR, and notification of Rules thereon by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, CSR has become a nationwide mandate. This has led to a burgeoning demand for trained CSR professionals from all companies that fall within the purview of the parameters defined in Act. It is in order to address this need, that the Learning & Development Vertical at the NFCSR, IICA has developed a wide range of knowledge dissemination programmes that include capacity building, action research, and advisory consulting etc.
