• 1990 - Founded as a specialist residential building management business based in Salisbury
• 1998 - 5,000 homes managed, opened first regional
office in Brighton covering South East of England • 2002 - 6,500 homes managed, opened second regional
office in Birmingham covering Central England • 2006 – 7,500 homes managed, Staff undertook
a Management Buyout of the business, enabling significant investment in state of the art

What We Offer Residents’
Management Companies
• A personal service – we don’t manage 60,000 “units” we
manage 18,000 homes. • If you call us you will talk to a real person – not a call
centre or automated response system. We don’t believe in
voicemail. • A realistically priced service – well explained, transparent,
sensible pricing for our services, we don’t take backhanders,
we don’t make undisclosed commissions • Local offices – to give good “on the ground” support to
Directors and Residents. • A full service – we are a reasonable sized firm, which brings
with it significant experience, expertise and resources that a
smaller firm could not match. • Long Term business relationship – We only do residential
estate management. We have done it for the last 24 years and
have been successful at it.

3. Industry Standards – we comply with the RICS Residential Code, are a member of ARHM and encourage all staff to undertake IRPM training.
4. Client Accounts and Reserve Funds – we maintain a separate client bank account for your building.
5. Professional Indemnity Insurance – £2m per claim. This covers you for errors, omissions and negligence by us. To date we have never had a claim.
6. Value for money and fairness of charges – no percentage fees, a simply annual management fee which covers most regular management issues. Time based fees for works outside the norm. All our fees and charges are published and transparent.
7. Insurance – our brokers go out to multiple underwriters to ensure the best rate for your building. In addition to this there is no obligation to use our insurers.
8. Impartiality – Unlike many Managing Agents, we take no commissions from our contractors. We encourage Residents to recommend contractors where possible.
9. Legislation Changes – we invest a lot of time keeping up to date with all legislation affecting our clients, so you do not need to.
10. FCA Regulated – we are regulated to conduct insurance business. Don’t make the mistake of using a company who is not.
11. Ombudsman Service - Remus are members of the Ombudsman Services, any issues that cannot be resolved internally can be referred to them at no cost to the home owner
