• The creative industries are the UK’s fastest growing industry
• This includes gaming, media, film, theatre, etc. • But! • There is more to creativity than just the
creative industries....but before we move onto that...
UK Film Industry
• directly generating 43,900 full time jobs • contributing £1.6 billion to national GDP. • In employment terms, the industry is larger
than fund management and the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
