Professor Shiu Yuen CHENG Board ChairmanProfessor Cheng is an internationally renowned mathematician specialising in differential geometry and game theory. Professor Cheng was a full professor at the University of California, Los Angeles before he moved to The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1996, where he served as Department Head of Mathematics and Dean of Science. Professor Cheng is active in mathematics education and gifted education in Hong Kong. He was one of the founding members of The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education. Professor Cheng has published widely and was awarded the Chern Prize at the 2007 International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians in Hangzhou.

Dr. Desmond Y.T. LEE School SupervisorDr. Lee is an Elected District Board Member (1995–to date) and was a Legislative Council Member (1985–1988). Before his retirement, he was Senior Assistant Registrar of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has an outstanding track record of public service and an extensive network with the government and the community. He holds honorary doctoral degrees in Management and is the Honorary Consul for Fiji Islands in Hong Kong.

Professor Rex I.F. LI Curriculum DirectorProfessor Li received his Doctor of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He is a psychologist and a pioneering educator of the gifted in Hong Kong. Being the founder of the Gifted Education Council, G.T. College and the Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad School, he serves as a consultant and advisor to many local and overseas institutions. He was appointed as Visiting Professor in the Institute of Psychology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (1997) and Fudan University, Shanghai (2016). He is the chief editor of John Dewey’s Selected Works and author of many scholarly works.

Dr. Raymond K.W. TAM PrincipalDr. Tam is a devoted school administrator with vision and vigour. He aims at quality education catering for gifted & talented youths. Dr. Tam works at the frontline to promote science educa-tion and has written Physics and Science textbooks for secondary schools. Dr. Tam is Chairman of the Gifted Education Council (Hong Kong) and Chairman of the International Arts Olympiad (Hong Kong Region). Dr. Tam writes articles frequently for major Chinese and English newspapers in Hong Kong, commenting on education, politics, policies and administration. For future developments, he hopes to promote gifted education as well as environmental science internationally, especially in mainland China.

Mr. Chiu Yin LEUNG Vice-PrincipalLiberal Studies Panel HeadMr. Leung graduated from The Hong Kong Institute of Education with a double major in Chinese and Chinese History. He obtained a Master of Arts in Chinese Historical Studies at The University of Hong Kong. He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Studies. He has been teaching Liberal Studies, Chinese History, Chinese Language, and History. Currently, he is studying for a higher degree, namely the Doctor of Philosophy in Chinese History, a course offered by a Mainland university.

Mr. Paul W.S. CHAN Vice-PrincipalMathematics Panel HeadMr. Chan graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1982. He majored in Mathematics and minored in Statistics. He later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been Panel Chairman of Mathematics at secondary schools for over twenty years. Mr. Chan is a teacher governor and has contributed much, especially in curriculum design and timetabling. He is a versatile teacher and a learned person who is fond of reading and pursuing knowledge of multidisciplines. He has had great achievements in sports, chess, and appreciation of precious stones. He is very experienced in assessment and examinations and has been a marker of public examinations for many years.

Mr. Benny H.S. LAI Assistant PrincipalMr. Lai graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering. He later obtained a master’s degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Hong Kong Institute of Education. Mr. Lai has a great deal of work experience in a multinational company. He now teaches Mathematics and works on the moral development of students.

Mr. Alex K.C. O Department Head of Science and MathematicsPhysics Panel HeadClass Teacher of 10CMr. O obtained his Master of Philosophy in Theoretical Physics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and his Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Later, he was awarded a certificate of Mathematics Olympiad Teacher by the Chinese Mathematical Society. Mr. O led students to participate in the Hang Lung Mathematics Awards from 2010 to 2014, having served as a Physics Olympiad Teacher for 12 years with brilliant results. Mr. O is a committee member of the Hong Kong Physics Olympiad and served as a Senior Guide in the International Mathematical Olympiad 2016. Mr. O is attending the Master of Science in Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Tony K.K. AU Department Head of Humanities and Liberal StudiesLiberal Studies Panel HeadMr. Au has been in the teaching career for a few decades. People may say ‘one cannot teach old dogs new tricks’. Yet as an educator, we all understand ‘the more you know, the more you don’t know’. There should be no excuse for contenting oneself with the knowledge one has already acquired. To be positive, an economist must agree that ‘practice makes perfect’. The subject of Liberal Studies further requires one to think critically, be open minded, and adopt life-long learning. The teaching and learning processes go on interactively at G. T. between the facilitators and the pupils.

Ms. Rose K.W. LUNG Chinese Language Panel HeadClass Teacher of 10DMs. Lung holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Diploma in Teacher Librarianship from the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKUSPACE). She has a great deal of experience in teaching Chinese Language and Putonghua.

Ms. Vanessa S.Y. LEUNG English Language Panel HeadClass Teacher of 8BMs. Leung graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with Distinction at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Education Bureau issued her a Certificate of Merit on the Benchmark Test. She also earned her Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (Distinction). As a kind of professional development, she was involved in writing course and skill books for junior and senior forms. She had taught in a subsidised school for more than a decade before she joined the G.T. family.

Dr. Vincent Y.K. TAM IB CoordinatorHead of International Exchange GroupDr. Tam received his Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences from The University of Maine, where he focused his research on population and evolutionary genetics. After returning to Hong Kong in 2002, Dr. Tam became a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Hong Kong. Since 2004, Dr. Tam has been teaching Biology at local secondary schools. He believes that both knowledge development and personal growth of teenagers are equally important in school education.

Mr. Anselm C.M. KWOK IB CAS CoordinatorMr. Kwok received his Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Science in Physics with First Class Honours from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been a Physics, Mathematics and Integrated Science teacher for over fifteen years. He is also the author of several Physics reference books and a reviewer of Physics textbooks.

Dr. Christine K.Y. YU Biology Panel HeadClass Teacher of 8EDr. Yu completed her Bachelor of Science, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in Biology from The University of Hong Kong. Her doctoral research focused on plant biochemistry and molecular biology and she has published several research papers in international journals. After completing the Doctor of Philosophy, she did postdoctoral research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is committed to inspiring students to explore and appreciate the fascinating world of biological science. She is also devoted to helping students to develop a positive attitude and a correct sense of value.

Dr. Hong Sang FUNG Chemistry Panel HeadClass Teacher of 12DDr. Fung graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry and Postgraduate Diploma in Education. His research focused on transition metal-assisted reactions and he has several publications in international journals. He believes all students can learn and learning science can help them to think logically and work systematically.

Mr. Victor K.H. YEUNG Integrated Science Panel HeadHead of General Affairs GroupClass Teacher of 8AMr. Yeung graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Technology. He later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Hong Kong Baptist University. He believes that many generic skills can be developed through learning science and science nurtures our curiosity to understand nature.

LAU Chinese History Panel HeadHead of Student DevelopmentStudents’ Union OfficerClass Teacher of 12BMr. Lau received his Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Arts in History from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a co-author of a Chinese History reference book for the New Senior Secondary Curriculum.

Mr. Samuel Y.S. CHAN Senior Geography ConsultantMr. Chan received his Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Master of Education in Curriculum Development from The University of Hong Kong. Mr. Chan is a prominent Geography teacher in Hong Kong. He has rich experience in managing the Geography panel and teaching Geography at secondary school. He has long been the most popular Geography tutor in a leading tutorial school. He is also a renowned author with more than twenty titles of Geography textbooks and reference books, which are widely adopted at both junior and senior secondary levels nowadays. For the latest senior secondary Geography curriculum, Mr. Chan has more than 10 publications.

Ms. Candy S.Y. YAM Geography Panel HeadClass Teacher of 12AMs. Yam obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Postgraduate Diploma in Education in English from The University of Hong Kong. She believes education is more effective with active interaction between teachers and students. She also believes that a teacher should boost students’ self-esteem, helping them to build a positive attitude and achieve their full potential.

Dr. Salson K.H. TO Physical Education Panel HeadHead of Sports FridayDr. To received a Bachelor of Science from California Baptist University, a master’s degree in Exercise Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Doctor of Philosophy from Nang Yan College. He is experienced in various sports. He obtained his International Tchoukball ‘B License’ coach qualifications from the International Tchoukball Federation and was appointed as Head Coach of Hong Kong Men’s Team from the Hong Kong Tchoukball Association, Level 3 coach qualification from the Handball Association of Hong Kong, the level of Swimming Teacher Tutor qualifications from the Hong Kong Swimming Teachers’ Association, and the Instructor Trainer of Underwater qualifications from the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI).

IP Acting Economics Panel HeadDeputy Head of Special ProgrammeHead of Elective DayMr. Ip graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree majoring in Economics and minoring in Government and Public Administration. He was a multiple-choice questions setter and marker of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination. Recently, he was invited by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) to be a Committee Member of the School-based Assessment Economics Focus Group. He believes that teaching should be student-centred and built on good relationships with students.

Ms. Kaman K.M. WONG Teaching and Assessment Officer – Internal, Mathematics TeacherMs. Wong graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering. She obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Wong has nearly ten years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Information Technology in a local secondary school. Her pedagogic emphases are observation and innovation.

Dr. Ken W.K. CHENG Music Performance CoordinatorHead of School Function GroupHead of Talent ClassDr. Cheng graduated from the Department of Philosophy, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He later obtained his Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy at the Division of Humanities, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Cheng actively participates in music practices. He has been the conductor of a local symphony orchestra for more than 10 years, and one of his orchestral arrangements was performed at Musikverein in Vienna in 2011. His aspiration is ‘emancipation through knowledge’ (from Karl Popper).

Ms. Queenie S.L. LIU Acting Music Panel HeadMs. Liu received her master’s degree in Music Composition from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Music) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has a great deal of working experience as she has worked in grand orchestra, music theatre, multimedia, chamber and electronic music. In addition, Ms. Liu received the YAMAHA Music Scholarship, Grantham Scholarship, Jacky Chan Charitable Scholarship, Lion Club Joseph Koo Music Composition Foundation Scholarship, Parsons Music Foundation Scholarship, and the Hong Kong Association of University Women (HKAUW) Muses Foundation for Culture and Education Postgraduate Scholarship. She is a qualified full member of the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild.

Ms. Jessie Y.T. Mr. Stephen Thomas SHURGALLA English Language TeacherClass Teacher of 7AMr. Shurgalla has a wide range of interests. His first bachelor’s degree is in Accounting from the University of Baltimore in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He also completed a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) recognised by the Secretariat of Public Education (Mexico) and received Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) training (University of Cambridge) . He has been teaching English for more than five years and strongly supports interdisciplinary projects. He believes that understanding and valuing multiple intelligences is the key for student success.

Ms. Vanessa W.Y. WONG English Language TeacherClass Teacher of 7BMs. Wong holds a double bachelor’s degree of English Studies and Language Education conferred by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She loves exploring and has been to Australia for a year of working holiday. As an English teacher, she would like to spread a message to her students that learning English is actually one of the keys to opening up the door to our world.

Dr. Ian C.P. CHUCK Biology TeacherClass Teacher of 7BDr. Chuck holds his Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry conferred by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has 7 international publications with 5 of them as first author. Afterwards, Dr. Chuck obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Biology) from CUHK. Since 2011, he has been teaching Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science and Mathematics at a secondary school. He enjoys sharing his scientific knowledge and research experience with students, not only triggering their interest in science, but also enhancing their problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Ms. Po Wah CHAN Mathematics TeacherClass Teacher of 7CMs. Chan graduated from The University of Manchester in the United Kingdom with her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Mathematics and Management Science. She obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The University of Hong Kong. Her extensive experience as a Mathematics teacher includes having marked public examinations for over ten years. Keen on sports, she is a basketball coach.

Ms. Sura S.W. NG Chinese History TeacherClass Teacher of 7AMs. Ng obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History and Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Liberal Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Experienced in planning and tailor making curriculums for both local and overseas schools, Ms. Ng adopts a flexible teaching and learning approach in History and Cultural Studies. Ms. Christy H.Y. LUM Physics TeacherClass Teacher of 7CMs. Lum graduated from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics. She then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at The University of Hong Kong and is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Lum is highly interested in space science and astronomy and has been a committee member of the Hong Kong Astronomical Society. She is dedicated to guide her students to appreciate and understand the beauty of science and will be willing to communicate with every single student to help them develop.

Mr. Elstan Y.K. FONG Mathematics TeacherClass Teacher of 7DMr. Fong graduated from the Department of Statistics and obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Mathematics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is now studying the Master of Science in Mathematics Education at CUHK as well. He is fond of Mathematics and English, and has particular interest in Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad (HKMO) competitions. He is also keen on sports such as football and badminton. He believes that every student can enjoy Mathematics and have great fun from it.

Ms. Cherry Y. KAO Putonghua CoordinatorChinese Language TeacherClass Teacher of 7EMs. Kao graduated with a Master of Arts (The University of Hong Kong) and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from The Hong Kong Institute of Education. She also successfully completed the Diploma for Advanced Putonghua Trainers at the School of Continuing Education of Hong Kong Baptist University. She also attained a first-class rating in the Putonghua Proficiency Test organised by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Kao has been a Judge for the Putonghua Poetry Recitation Competition held by the Hong Kong Recitation Artistic Language Centre for many years.

He thereafter obtained a Certificate in Education and an Advanced Diploma in Education from The University of Hong Kong. Dr. Leung is experienced in using interesting experiments and information technology to enhance teaching.

Ms. Tina J.L. TONG Chinese Language TeacherClass Teacher of 8AMs. Tong graduated from The Hong Kong Institute of Education with a master’s degree in Chinese Studies (Language Education). She is fascinated by Chinese classical culture and well experienced in teaching Chinese Language. She believes that the mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.

Mr. Ryan W.L. CHENG Mathematics Teacher, Class Teacher of 8BMr. Cheng graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Sunny P.Y. Lui Science and Biology Teacher, Class Teacher of 8CMr. Lui graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biological Sciences. Then, he received a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The University of Hong Kong and a Master of Arts in English for Specific Purposes with credit from City University of Hong Kong. Mr. Lui has been teaching Science and Biology for over 15 years. He hopes to develop students’ potential and interest in science.

Ms Tracy W.Y. LI English Language Teacher, Class Teacher of 8CMs. Li obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (English Language) at Hong Kong Baptist University and a Master of Arts in Language Studies (Linguistics) at City University of Hong Kong. Under her guidance, her students got the Second Grand Award at The 66th Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, won championships at the Roche Young Scientist Award, and the VEX Robotics Competition. Integrating (STEM) knowledge into English language teaching, Ms Li has made her lessons enjoyable. She thinks it is the best way to help students improve their confidence in speaking and gain interest in English. She believes that education should be student-centred and built on good interrelationships.

Mr. Roy C.T. Tse Geography Teacher, Class Teacher of 8DMr. Tse graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Hong Kong Baptist University. He also earned his Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Geography from The University of Hong Kong. He holds a master’s degree and a postgraduate diploma in Liberal Studies from The Open University of Hong Kong. Moreover, he obtained a diploma in Special Education from the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKUSPACE). On the other hand, Roy is a Christian. He has been leading the children and the adolescents to grow in his church. He has a devoted vision of faith, hope and love.

Mr. Patrick J. Cummings English Language Teacher, Class Teacher of 8EMr. Patrick J. Cummings graduated from the University of Guelph with a B.S. He then graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Later he also graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a Master of Arts in English. The HKU Press's, A Dictionary of Hong Kong English was co-authored by Mr. Patrick Cummings. He has also published more than 200 articles. He has been teaching English in Hong Kong for more than a decade before coming to G.T. College. Mr. Patrick Cummings believes that learning is fun and those people who stop learning after they graduate are boring.

Mr. Martin S.H. CHEUNG Mathematics Teacher, Class Teacher of 9BMr. Cheung graduated from The University of Hong Kong, majoring in Mathematics. He then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in Mathematics Education and minoring in Science Education. Finally, he obtained a master’s degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in Mathematics. He taught for many years in different schools, teaching Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Integrated Science and Computer Literacy. He believes that he should help both weak and strong students, but in different ways.

Mr. Mark SULLIVAN English Language Teacher, Class Teacher of 9CMr. Sullivan graduated from Thames Valley University in London completing a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management. He spent the next twelve years working in the field of human resources in London. He changed career in 2009 when he moved to Asia and completed a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course. He has taught in schools in Hong Kong and Singapore for the last seven years. He believes that activity-based learning is the best way for students to improve their confidence in speaking and take an interest in learning English.

Mr. Jason COLLELO English Language Teacher, Class Teacher of 9DMr. Collelo graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and holds a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He has spent the last 10 years teaching and training including 6 years as an English teacher at a local school in Hong Kong. He has developed and implemented a pilot programme for Native-speaking English Teachers (NETs) teaching at local schools and has held teacher development workshops. Mr. Collelo uses a student-centred, activity-based teaching approach aimed at increasing students’ interest and fluency in English. He is also a strong proponent of personal or interested reading as a key to English language learning.

Mr. David W.M. LAM Chinese Language Teacher, Class Teacher of 10BMr. Lam graduated from The Open University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature. He obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the Northcote College of Education. He also obtained an honours diploma in Chinese Language and Literature from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. He has been teaching Chinese Language in Hong Kong secondary schools for more than 22 years and was a marker for local public examinations for more than 10 years. Mr. Lam is a Christian. His motto of education is “Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Mr. Alpha K.W. HO Biology Teacher, Class Teacher of 11CMr. Ho obtained his Bachelor of Science (Biology), Master of Philosophy (Physiology) and Postgraduate Diploma (Psychology) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Throughout his years of teaching, he is aware that teaching is not only a transfer of knowledge but also an art of interaction. He is enthusiastic and devoted to helping students develop their own methodologies of learning.

Ms. Irean T.Y. LO English Language Teacher, Class Teacher of 12CMs. Lo graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in English for Professional Communication and obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Hong Kong Baptist University. She furthered her studies in Literary and Cultural Studies and got a master’s degree from The University of Hong Kong. Having been a student and a teacher, she understands that students can only learn when they find the subjects interesting and are engaged in the learning process. Therefore, she encourages student-centred learning and has incorporated a lot of group work and activities in her lessons in order to let students explore the subjects by themselves.

Mr. Paul C.H. LIP English Language TeacherMr. Lip lived in Melbourne, Australia, for over ten years. He taught at a post-secondary institution and a secondary school for eight years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from City University of Hong Kong, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (English) & a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from The University of Hong Kong. He has been an action researcher to improve his teaching and has published and presented in the field of English language teaching and learning.

Mr. Sunny F.S. WONG English Language TeacherMr. Wong graduated from City University of Hong Kong, with a Master of Arts in Language and Law, plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English Language. While teaching General English in tertiary institutions and secondary schools, Mr. Wong has been teaching Business English at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (SCS) and Hong Kong Baptist University (SCE) continuously for many years.

Mr. Billy C.Y. LEE Liberal Studies TeacherMr. Lee graduated from his Bachelor of Arts (History and Chinese History) and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Liberal Studies) at The University of Hong Kong. He obtained his Master of Arts (History) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also finished his second Master of Arts (Liberal Studies) from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was appraised for his outstanding performance in training students for the Hong Kong public examination (Chinese History) in 2011. He was also awarded the commendation certificate by the Education Bureau (EDB) in 2014 which was nominated by the school.

Ms. Queenie G.N. XU Chinese Language TeacherMs. XU graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Master of Education in Chinese Language and Literature. She has experience in teaching Chinese at a Confucius institute and a Chinese heritage school during her exchange in America. She is skilled in using drama in education to motivate students. She believes that education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.

Ms. Luna J.Lu Chinese Language TeacherMs. Lu graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a master’s degree in Chinese Studies (Language Education). She is well experienced in teaching Chinese Language and Literature at secondary school. She is fascinated in Chinese traditional culture and literature, and firmly believes they could shape the character of us all. She will always be the student who would not stop seeking the truth.

Mr. Johnnie Y.K. WONG Physical Education TeacherMr. Wong graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering. He has also obtained a Teacher Certificate in Physical Education and Science. He obtained a master’s degree in Material Technology from City University of Hong Kong. He later obtained a master’s degree in Physical Education from Guangzhou Sport University as professional development.

Ms. Milly S.Y. Wong Visual Arts TeacherMs. Wong graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor’s degree majoring in Arts in Design. She then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is well experienced in teaching Visual Arts. She believes that with positive and encouraging teaching methodology, students’ unique potential can be revealed. She hopes to develop students’ interest in Visual Arts from different aspects.

Ms. Phyllis M.W. CHAN School LibrarianMs. Chan obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Translation and Chinese Language and a Master of Arts in Chinese Linguistics from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also received a Master of Applied Science in Library and Information Management from Charles Sturt University, Australia, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The University of Hong Kong and a Diploma in Teacher Librarianship from the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education. Mr. Wilson W.S. KONG Laboratory Technician – Physics and Integrated ScienceMr. Kong majored in Science and graduated from MacEwan University in Canada. He enjoys working in the laboratory where he discovers the beauty of nature and gains valuable experience by conducting experiments. He believes that students can acquire a broader and deeper scope of scientific knowledge and improve their practical skills by doing experiments.
