Darpan Kalra Egon Zehnder

Darpan Kalra leads Egon Zehnder’s Board Advisory practice and the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Practice in India. He also provides counsel to boards and senior leadership teams on board effectiveness and CEO succession. He has been a member of the Board of the Harvard Club of India.

Dishan Kamdar Professor, Deputy Dean, Academic Programmes AREA Organisational Behaviour

Dishan Kamdar has widely published in top tier journals and has presented papers at several premiere conferences including the Academy of Management Conference (AOM), Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference (SIOP), the American Psychological Association (APA) and other key forums. He has also co-authored a chapter titled “A Review of Good Soldier Activity in Organizations” in the book Handbook on Organisational Citizenship Behavior.

Sanjay Kallapur Professor, Deputy Dean, Faculty and Research Area Accounting

Sanjay Kallapur teaches valuation and financial accounting. Prior to joining the ISB, he was a tenured Associate Professor at the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. He has also taught at the University of Arizona, University of California at Irvine, the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and National University of Singapore. Professor Kallapur is a member of the American Accounting Association and was also an editor of The Accounting Review.

Deepak Ghaisas Chairman & Chief Mentor, Gencoval Group

Deepak Ghaisas is Chairman and Chief Mentor, Gencoval Group, and leads strategy development, visioning and conceptualisation of breakthrough business models for Gencoval. Prior to this, he was Vice Chairman, Oracle Financial Services, and CEO, iFlex India. He is on the boards of Shoppers Stop Ltd. and Ugar Sugar Works Ltd. Mr. Ghaisas is the first Indian CFO to be felicitated with the prestigious CFO Asia award.

Nawshir Mirza Independent Director

Nawshir Mirza is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He was associated with a member firm of EY Global in India from 1967 till his (early) retirement in April 2003 and worked in its Calcutta and Mumbai offices. Mr. Mirza is an Independent Director on the boards of Tata Power Ltd., Thermax Ltd., Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd., Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd., Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd., Exide Industries Ltd. and the Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy.

R. Gopalakrishnan Independent Director

R. Gopalakrishnan, Author and Corporate Advisor, has a distinguished career of being on the boards of leading companies, spanning across 25 years. He has served as Chairman of Unilever Arabia, as MD of Brooke Bond Lipton and Vice Chairman of Hindustan Lever. He has also been an ED of Tata Sons and several companies within the Tata group. He is an Independent Director on the boards of Akzo Nobel India, Castrol India and Hemas Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka. Mr. Gopalakrishnan is actively engaged in both instructional and inspirational speaking and has authored five books.

Arun Duggal Chairman, ICRA (A Subsidiary of Moody’s USA).

Arun Duggal is Chairman, ICRA (a subsidiary of Moody’s, USA), and also Chairman, Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited and International Asset Reconstruction Company. He is an esteemed Independent Director on several boards including ITC Limited, Info Edge, Dish TV and Dr. Lal Path Labs Ltd. Arun is also an experienced international banker and has advised companies and financial institutions on financial strategy, M&A and capital raising.

Dolphy D’Souza is a Partner with an Indian member firm of EY Global and a member of the IFRS committee of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He was a member of the IFRS convergence committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the SEBI Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards and the Accounting Standards Board of the ICAI. He has also authored several books on financial reporting, including Ind AS.

Dolphy D’Souza Partner, Indian member firm of EY Global

Somasekhar Sundaresan Independent Legal Counsel

Somasekhar Sundaresan is an indepdendent legal counsel and an expert in securities law. Previously, he was head of the Securities Law practice, J. Sagar Associate, a national law firm. Som’s core practice areas include securities laws, competition law, company law and exchange controls in India. He has also been actively involved in formulating regulatory policy and legislative drafting with Indian regulatory agencies such as SEBI, RBI, IRDA and the Government of India.

Burgess Cooper Partner, Advisory Services, EY India

Burgess Cooper is a Partner in Advisory Services and has over 19 years of experience with focus on Information and Cybersecurity across multiple sectors. As a former Chief Technology and Information Officer, he was responsible for Information Security, Privacy & Compliance for one of India’s largest telecommunication company. He has led some of the key mandates at EY, helping client to implement major cybersecurity transformation programs.

Rohit Mathur Partner, Advisory Services, EY India

Rohit Mathur is a Partner in Advisory Services and has over 19 years of experience in managing and delivering on engagements with a focus on Board Governance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, etc. He has worked across 20 plus countries and led some of the key mandates for EY on Governance, Risk and Compliance across different sectors.
