Our peer support groups are facilitated by mental health professionals, for those living with cancer, family or friends supporting some- one living with cancer, those bereaved. We have support groups for all stages and ages of the cancer journey. Digital Storytelling This innovative arts-based program provides children, teens and adults with an opportunity to utilize technol- ogy to tell their personal stories. Digital storytelling combines the art of storytelling with multimedia features such as expressive arts, photography, anima- tion, text, audio and video. Education/Networking Education and networking groups are an opportunity to share information and experiences, while learning from other members. Professionally led discussion series lectures and workshops provide information and answers to questions on cancer related topics. Healthy Lifestyles We offer a wide variety of healthy lifestyles activities including mind-body stress-reduction programs, gentle exercise, art-related workshops, and nutritional aware- ness and education series. Social Connections Social and family events promote interaction, play and humour. Through a renowned sense of commu- nity, members come together to share in community suppers, family fun Super Sunday events, seasonal camps, social programs, laughter and fun! Resources & Referrals Resource materials and information sessions are professional led, as well we offer assistance in identify- ing other resources in the community.
