In 2004 she was awarded both the Edebé and the Barco de Vapor prizes for children’s literature. When she is not writing, she draws, and she has illustrated some of her books.

Demons in a vestAuthor Paloma Bordons will tell and illustrate her book “Demons in a vest”. After that, the library will turn into a factory, where the children and the author will recreate together the characters in the story, using cardboard, markers and some basic stationery.

67 trends, with their 67 names, their 67 unique and unrepeatable merits. Are all the names on the list for good reason? Is the listexhaustive? Yes and no. All the names included refer to trendspotters, but obviously Sybilla has little to do with Davidelfín. However, which one of them should have been left out? Is the list exhaustive? No. Without arbitrariness, as Borges would say, aselection is not worth it. A final justification: the exhibition is“intimate”, a private look over a century of Spanish fashion, mainly because it has been agreed with each of the figures chosen. Except with Balenciaga, who was not available, if you know what I mean, each word, each photograph, each caption, has been carefully searched for, found and documented. This is what I mean when I make the point that “Trend Spotters?” is also an intimate portrait of Spanish fashion.

Poesía eres tú, a full and symphonic event where the dance, the poetry and the music answer each others.

Gloria Diez Petrovsky gave her first steps in this lousy art & drama world in her early in life in Spain. She moved to Russia in the hope of learning about Stanislavski method, Russian ballet & contemporary techniques. She has been seen all around the globe, composing, drawing & performing with artists like Grigoriy Antipenko, Ion Caramitru & Daniela Mercury. She has been learning from dance legends like David Howard & Gelsey Kirkland. As a child, Javier’s music talent was early discovered by Rafael Orozco, one of the most recognized pianists of the XX century. After finishing his degree in Piano and Classical Music at the age of 18th, Javier “Peke” Rodríguez started to perform as a piano soloist in various international orchestras including Seville Symphonic Orchestra and Kent Symphony Orchestra at Canterbury. After long periods living in Berlin and Moscow where he has been studying different contemporary piano techniques, he is now based in London and performs world-wide.

Inspired by Don Quixote’s wanderings, two feisty senoritas and a downtrodden Englishman embark on a journey through medieval Spain taking on one of the most accomplished works of fiction ever written. Accompanied only by a flamenco guitarist whose presence there makes no sense whatsoever, they will lead you to joy, pain and ultimate wisdom.
