Second Uttarakhand Spring Bird Festival to mark 3rd anniversary-Scale up-More inclusive Activity
Goal & ObjectivesTo promote Uttarakhand as a global Birdwatching destination by scaling up bird guiding and birdwatching activity.
– To increase awareness about birds and mobilize public support for bird conservation.
– To provide an opportunity for networking to bird guides, birdwatchers, rural tourism practitioners & researchers.
– To promote birdwatching and rural tourism in Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve and other birdwatching destinations in Uttarakhand.
Participants (apprx. 3000)• Bird Guides, Rural Tourism operators, Bird Tour Operators• Birdwatchers, Bird Photographers, Tourists• Schools / Institutions• Communities• Forest Dept., PAs, Resource Managers, Tourism
Organizations• Producers, handicrafts etc.
