Improv Workshop:Rating: APJoin Synaptic Chaos Theatre for lessons on developing your own improv skills. Get a look at how these talented funny men (and women) have honed their craft for over a decade!

Late-Night Dub-Fight:Rating: 14PRelive moments from your favourite anime, cartoons and TV shows in a new and hilarious light. The Late-Night Dub-Fight pits members of Synaptic Chaos Theatre and guests against each other to find out who can “improve” classic clips by redubbing them live with their imposing improv skills. No one knows what show host Coriander Dickinson has up her sleeves, or what the cast members will say in this all out assault on your funny bone.The 99 Yen Challenge:

Rating: 12PIn the mood for something less physical? Come see “The 99 Yen Challenge”, a panel game where two opposing teams are given silly things to do by host Coriander Dickinson, all for the chance to win the grand prize of 99 yen! A co-production of tiltyhouse.com and Synaptic Chaos Theatre.

Improv with Synaptic Chaos Theatre:Rating: 14PSynaptic Chaos Theatre is an improvisational comedy performance. Our host and a panel of six of our performers will create characters, scenes and songs on the spot in the style of short-form improv games, based on audience suggestions. There is, of course, a large component of audience participation as well as music and dance.

Itazura na Kiss:Episodes: 1 – 4 Rating: 12PEver since she entered high school, Kotoko Aihara wanted to be in the same class as Naoki Irie, the person she admires. The only problem is that Irie is the smartest student in school contrast to Kotoko being one of the dumbest.

K-ON!:Episodes: 1 – 4 Rating: 12PWhen you combine a clumsy happy-go-lucky guitarist, a moé bassist, a super-rich keyboard player, and a hyperactive drummer, you get the members of the light music club.

Mawaru Penguin Drum:Episodes: 1 – 4 Rating: 14P – Mature ContentThe story centers around three siblings, twins Kanba and Shouma, and the ill sister, Himari Takakura. Himari passes away after going out on a trip with her brothers. She was however, miraculously saved by a spirit thriving in a penguin-shaped hat. In return for her extended life, the twins must search for an item known as the Penguin Drum with the aid of three penguins which are visible only to the siblings.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya:Movie Rating: 12PEver since Kyon’s fateful encounter with Haruhi Suzumiya, his life has never been the same. Getting caught up in abnormal events involving aliens, time travellers, and espers seemed a common occurrence for Kyon until one December, when Haruhi disappeared and the world turned “normal”. Now he’s on a quest to find Haruhi and restore the world to the way it was.

12P: Programming with this rating is recommended for those ages 12 and up. May contain some violence, language, and scenes we feel are not appropriate for young children.

14P: Programming with this rating is recommended for those ages 14 and up. Content may contain scenes of violence, language, nudity, or mature themes.

18P: Programming with this rating is strongly recommended for those ages 18 and up. An adult must accompany those under the age of 18. Identification may be required. Content may contain explicit and crude language, nudity, significant gory and bloody violence, and so forth.

MP: Programming with this rating is restricted to those 18 years old and older without exception. Government issued picture identification required. Content may contain almost anything, but not of the adult animated (hentai) nature.
