The internationally known Toledo Camera Club has been a Toledo institution since 1904. A non-profit organization, it is composed of people interested in promoting their interest in photography.
Membership in the Toledo Camera Club offers beginner and advanced photographers the opportunity and the incentive, through critique and competition, to develop, improve and show their photographs at our meetings. Several program nights offer educational opportunities to learn, not only to take pictures, but also to create prize-winning photographs that the maker will be proud of.
Come visit our club this season. Meetings are held at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus (formerly MCO), Room 103 in the Health Education Building (off Glendale Avenue); September thru May, at 7:30 PM on the second and fourth Monday of those months. (Get directions on our web site.) You may find just what you are looking for to improve your photography and at the same time enjoy working, learning and sharing your ideas with other people whose interest is photography.
There are 5 divisions of inter-club competition available for members:• Prints - any subject, monochrome or color images (• Digital Nature Images - nature subjects, must show no hand-of-man, color only• Digital General Images - any subject that shows the hand-of-man, color only• Digital Creative Images - any subject, must show obvious manipulation in the computer, color only • Digital Monochrome Images - any subject, black & white, or black & white with 1 color
During the season, there are 4 scheduled competitions in Prints, Digital General and Digital Nature divisions. There will be 2 scheduled competitions in Digital Monochrome and Digital Creative. New members can review the club guidelines for entering contests on our website. See the schedule for details.There are three classes for members to compete in:
• Beginner Class• Intermediate Class• Advanced Class
Membership annual dues are as follows:• $ 25.00 Individual• $ 35.00 Two family members
