Geological InventoryGeological Inventory

C. Anhaeusser, T. Ferrar & D. Brandt conducted 2 day Site Visit of whole region.

Identification of Sample of >300 Geo-sites.

Geological Inventory Report updated, inclusive of geo-sites of significance.

Inventory 85% complete and preliminary geological map based on sites identified is 95% complete.

Additional Peer Reviewers – M de Wit contacted

Peer Review Protocols completed.

Socio Socio –– Economic Baseline StudyEconomic Baseline Study

Version 1 of Baseline Report has been updated.

Focus of report is on ALM & ULM.

Statistical data from Community Survey (2007) has been collected, collated and in-corporated into analysis in addition to SA Census data from 2001.

IDP’s have been reviewed with primary focus on LED and Tourism strategies.

Awaiting final LED Strategies from LM’s in order to finalize document.
