There are numerous features in the ProgressBook SpecialServices platform that enable users to increase theirefficiency while working on tasks. These features may also help to enhance the user's experience in thesystem. Dublin City Schools has provided professional development for Special Education staff memberstargeting such features as Task Navigation, links to Supplemental Information, the Copy Task Info feature, andthe use of individual/district banks. In addition, staff members have received regular updates on protecting workin the system, preventing loss of data/information entered in tasks, and general tips for increasing efficiency inthe Special Services platform. This presentation will highlight the features in ProgressBook SpecialServices thathave saved staff members valuable time and energy when creating ETRs, IEPs, and other tasks.

Like districts across the state of Ohio, Dublin City Schools is working diligently to meet the State's requirementsfor ALL students to meet expectations for graduating with a regular school diploma. However, for manystudents with significant disabilities, IEP teams need to consider a student's eligibility for an exemption from theconsequences for not earning required points toward graduation earned through End of Course exams. Walkthrough one district's "year in the life" of navigating the End of Course exam participation requirements,exemption considerations, and development of decision-making guidance for IEP teams.
