Definition of factory act
A factory as per section 2(m) means any premises wherein 10 or more persons are engaged if power is used, or 20 or more persons are engaged if power is not used, in a manufacturing process.
About factory act,1948
This act has laws related to the health, safety and welfare.
There are provisions related to approval, licensing ,registration ,inspecting staff of a factory.
