About ProjectThe current layout we have does not fulfil the needs for the amount of employees

on site. As a result I have proposed a new layout that will introduce more seating

and a better food service.

Canteen RefurbishmentAs Warburtons do a lot of charity work and donate to big organizations like CRUK, I think the company need a canteen refurbishment more than

increasing community involvement for now.

Page 18: Project Proposal Powerpoint

My objective is: To improve the canteen facilities which will benefit the employees and the company. Target DateStep 1 - Create a questionnaire for employees to bring forward their ideas on design, layout and food service.

March 2015

Step 2 – Collect results and produce a presentation on findings March 2015

Step 3 – Use questionnaire results to design a new layout April 2015Step 4 – Speak to local Contractors and Builders to get price estimates for the refurbishment

April - May 2015

Step 5 – Collect all data and pricings and present project proposal to General Manager to be approved

June 2015

Step 6 – Once approved contact chosen Builders and Electricians and agree on price and date to start work

June 2015

Step 7 – Create a temporary canteen whilst refurbishment is being done August 2015Step 8 – Supervise and complete refurbishment August - September

2015What problems am I likely to face? What will I do to overcome these?1. Contractor and Builders over pricing because the assume a big organization can afford a large amount.2. Not to be approved by General Manager3. Finding enough space for a temporary canteen
