Project Title: Product Tracking using Mobile Number.

DESCRIPTION

• When we order a product online, after the product ships, we get a tracking number with which we can track our product at what place it is, when will it get dispatched and will be out for delivery. For this we need to go to the site and enter the tracking number so that we can see the status of the product.

• Our project will be similar with few changes. The changes are instead of the tracking number, here we will use our own mobile number. When we order a product and the product is shipped, we get a mobile number as text to our mobile. When we call to that number from our registered number, immediately we will get a voice saying the whereabouts of that product. All these improvements are done using asterisk. The steps are discussed below.

• Create a database using MySQL that contains information about the product that is ordered, mobile numbers, names, date.

• Create a dialplan using asterisk.

• Link MySQL to asterisk.

• Then execute the whole.

• 12 oct- learn about MySQL.

• 22 oct- Create Database using MySQL

• 30 oct- Create a dialplan.

• 07 Nov- Link asterisk with MySQL.

• 12 Nov- Check the code by calling from various extensions to database extension.

• 19 Nov- Final execution.

• 24 Nov- Presentation.
