Division of Community PediatricsThe Bexar County Misdemeanor & Felony Drug CourtsThe Bexar County Substance Abuse Treatment FacilitiesVarious community agencies and planning groups

To reduce or prevent substance abuse, HIV, and hepatitis in minority and minority reentry populations by providing an evidenced-based integrated Substance Abuse/HIV/Hepatitis prevention intervention

• Linkages to ancillary preventive care:– Twin RX (vaccine protection against Hep A and B)

– Hepatitis C screening and referrals– HIV testing and counseling

• Substance abuse, HIV, and hepatitis prevention curriculum

– Participant of Bexar County Drug Courts– Participant of Bexar County Substance Abuse

Treatment Facility– Sexual partners of either group
