Results of the work – regional inventoryThe inventory is a summary document which collects and describes the instruments to support innovation and eco-innovation (with special focus on SME’s) at the regional and national level. The report focuses on financial instruments which, as proved by the discussions of experts from the regional platform of the ECREIN project, are the most efficient methods of implementing innovation in the SME’s sector.
Main conclusions of the report:– Eco-innovation and eco-investment – lack of such definitions in main
regional and national strategic documents– There are no financial instruments created particularly for SME eco-
innovation investments support– The access to financing of eco-innovation is difficult for SME

Results of the work – first questionnaireThe questionnaire survey was carried out among the experts of the
regional platform
The results of the survey shows that the opinions of the experts are undifferentiated and homogenous (the experts represents similar environment of business support institutions)
All instruments indicated in the survey are equally important for the eco-innovation and eco-investment development (at the specific early stage of Malopolska region „innovativnes” developement)
Experts proposed their own propositions (not included in the questionnaire) of the financial and promotion instruments
