Into the previous article of this series we have us busywith the process groups from which project manage-ment withstands institutes (PMI) in the sense of theProject Management. These are initialization, plan, im-plementation, control and closing. The processes ofthese groups are made to knowledge fields (knowledgeareas) systematize.
Every process within the process groups appertains toone of the following knowledge fields.
Content and circumference management(scope management)
Date management (time management)
Cost management (cost management)
Quality management (quality management)
Personnel management(human resources mangement)
Communication management(communication management)
Risk management (risk management)
Procurement management(procurement management)
Integration management (integration management)
In this and the following articles we employ ourselvesin each case or two of these knowledge fields.
Content and circumference management

So pro-ject information technology can withstand for examplethe assumption that an instrument which is necessaryfor the development in time and reliably is available inone. Such acceptance must be checked regularly fortheir further validity during the project. This process ofthe initiation appertains to the initiation process group.

It is the basis for every further plan and at the sa-me time the measure for the inspection of the results ofthe project. These processes of the definition of the con-tent and circumference appertain to the plan processgroup.
The attaining of the as a project goal of agreed contentand circumference must be checked regularly too cer-tain times in the project. For every modification of thecontent and circumference there must be a control sys-tem. It must be clear who may decide on modifications.These processes of the inspection and control appertainto the process group of the control.
In project it proves it again and again that many prob-lems are caused by a too inaccurate definition of thecontent and circumference or by the inconditionness ofthis definition. With that these projects lack everyplanning security because it is either unclear or pitch-ing which must perform the project.
Date management
During the date management we are at that what ismeant by project management frequently: the defini-tion of time schedules and milestones. But that is onlya part of the project management, when also natural animportant. Date management is not possible without ofother knowledge fields input being supplied. For ex-ample if clear is not, what must be achieved in the pro-ject, and also the available resources are not knownand also the risks that consist in the project are not ana-lyzed, a deadline planning looking still so professionalstands on an unsure footing and is with that almostworthless.
The scheduling of a project is based on the projectstructure plan. If the activities in the project whichmust be executed in order to reach the components ofthe project defined in the project structure plan areclear, these activities can be brought into a dependenceby each other. The ILM-strategy of IBM
Until recently IBM focused his activities on the topic ILMon "Data Retention" (cf. Kff: "IBM: Retention TotalStorageData 450" in the newsletter 20040512). Just the presentati-on of the new integrated one Memory and Server- solutionsystem "TotalStorage Data retention 450" aims unambigu-ously at the relatively new ILM market in which particularlyenterprise content management and StorageTec positionedthemselves since then.

The infor-mation technology reason control manual(http://www.bsi.de/gshb) was complemented with achapter for the electronic archiving (Section 9.5).
This chapter is divided into a general introducing part,the representation of the danger position and a list ofmeasures to be taken, that bases itself on a phase mo-del. The BSI distinguishes the phases of plan, introduc-tion/business and migration here. It takes in this casealso on questions of a superordinate document mana-gement, that archiving of electronically initialed do-cuments and other special topics referral.
With this supplement of the reason control manual it isnow also possible, to assess archiving systems after de-fined criteria and check. (FH)
PROJECT CONSULT Comment:It is to evaluate as very positive that the BSI reason controlmanual was complemented now with a chapter "archiving".By the interrupting into individual criteria, is so that alsothe circumference of an archival system defines indirectly -even if a concrete definition of terms is missing. Summary
In this contribution the electronic archiving comes inilluminates, that through the in a youngest way in ad-dition come possibility, legally binding electronic do-cuments, to store and to manage, a new dimension -concerning their tasks, however also with regard totheir security aspects - attains. Before this backgroundit does not become only necessary to protect the database, the archiving solution underlying, and/or DMS-system itself, but also the practicing infrastructuremust be protected precise in order to receive a uniforminformation technology security level. Since March2004 there is a new security module to that into thereason control manual (GsHb) from the federal de-partment of the security in the information technology(BSI) to that for electronic archive systems was incor-porated and makes the a referral to the electronicsignature. However, supplementary aspects of the in-formation technology infrastructure must be added tolibrary (ITIL) in order to be able to keep to the requireduniform information technology security level. Bothmethods are discussed in this contribution for the pre-sentation of an ideal secure infrastructure business ofan archive solution.
Introduction
Since in force step of the EU guideline about the elect-ronic signature that was published in the gazette(L13/12 of the 19.01.2000) of the European Union alsothe signature law (SigG) had to be adjusted in Germa-
ny by 1997. The new guideline had to adapt laws,supplementary to their complete implementation, forexample the Middle Class legal code (BGB §126), thesuit order §292 ZPO and the management techniquelaw (VwVfG).
In this case the BGB § 126 III contains the actual enhan-cement in the kernel, because the electronic form isintroduced as standby for the previous writing. Expli-citly this § 126a in which is executed underscores: Theexhibitor must add to the SigG the electronic explana-tion according to his names with a "qualified electronicsignature".

Bedauerlicherweise there is to dato no defined inter-faces between the GsHb and ITIL. Here a clear actionuse becomes visible. Both standard works have theirauthorizations and tasks. So for example the GsHbaddresses the availability as a sensitive goal. The GsHbdoes not prepare implementations to that, however.Maybe this would overstrain also the sense and aim ofthe GsHb. If ITIL are accessed on in the question of theimplementation for example in the case of the availabili-ty, concrete process descriptions there are. ITIL keepson helping also here, for example the service topic isbrought level Agreements (SLAs) in connection withthe electronic archiving and the GsHb. In the serviceprocess management level, in which also continuingSLAs is discussed, extensive implementations are pre-pared. The string of the relations and dependencescould be continued still any, would disrupt, however,the frame of the article clearly.
Upshot
For the secure business of electronic archiving soluti-ons those ones are to be assessed before the back-ground of the application of electronic signatures, thereason control manual does not suffice in order to gua-rantee a secure business. In supplement with theinfrastructure information technology library (ITIL)can be filled first the requirements at a secure businesscomplete. This demand is valid both for the simplexmode of an electronic archiving solution, as also first-right for mandator-capable archival systems. To usecertified ITIL advisers through the possibility calcula-ting and overlooking becomes the expenditure to beinvested bar.
GoBScape - Technique documentation withmethod and system
