What do we mean by a ‘project’?

A project is an extended piece of work on a particular topic where the content and the

presentation are determined principally by the learners.

Tom Hutchinson - http://oupeltglobalblog.com/2010/11/26/introduction-to-project-work-what-is-a-project/

Project work is student-centered and driven by the need to create an end-project.
