Bloggs Estates in Grange Parade,Aveley, have pledged to donate £50to Macmillan Cancer Support forevery property sold or rented.
The scheme has only been in placefor three weeks but has alreadyraised £300.
“We took the idea from anotherestate network in Harlow who havebeen doing the same and been reallysuccessful,” says Director of TylerEstates, Jeremy Bloggs.“They haveraised quite a lot of money so Ithought lets do the same. Macmillantouches so many people’s hearts andis a really popular charity with us so Ijust thought why not?”
Macmillan Cancer Support is oneof the largest British charities whoprovide practical, medical, emotionaland financial support to thosesuffering from cancer while alsopushing for better cancer care.
As well as donating money fromtheir profits Tyler Estates will also beholding fundraising events to helpthem reach their target.
“We’re aiming to raise £4,000,”adds Jeremy.“We will be hostingcoffee mornings and networkingevents in the office where donationsmade will go to Macmillan as well”.
The team are also going to usetheir famous window displays whichwill be covered in Macmillan logos
and stickers to help promote theservices offered by Macmillan andwill act as ambassadors of the charityin the Thurrock area.
“It is a privilege to raise money andawareness for such a great cause,cancer affects so many people it isthe least we can do to help.”

A HOUSING developer in Thurrock isreporting that the boost to theLondon housing market has had apositive effect on sales in the area.
Five months on from a positivestart to the year and propertyexperts across the nation say houseprices are declining and housebuying activity across the country isslowing. In fact, a new report by TheRoyal Institution of CharteredSurveyors (RICS) says 19% moresurveyors are reporting price fallsrather than price rises.

• Inform - Have your Registration number and your date ofbirth ready.
• Bid - Customers may bid for 2 properties each week. Youcan also check your position on the list for a property atany time during the Advertising cycle.
There are three bands; Gold/Silver Customers are entitled toone offer of suitable accommodation only. Bronze Customersare entitled to refuse 2 offers of accommodation.
If 2 suitable offers are refused an Application may be‘deferred’ which means the customer is not able to bid forproperties for a period of 6 months.

Current tenants wishing totransfer: If your bid has been accepted your

discoloured, peeling or generally

Once registered, applicants are matched up to
other suitable tenants and alerted via e-mail or text
message. It is then up to the tenants to make
contact etc.
