FACTORS THAT INFLUENCES STUDENTS TO ATTEND TUITION CLASSES.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

As we know, at the present time more tuition centre was opened day by day. More the tuition

centre, so the competition was increase in developed the tuition centre. Many varieties of

promotion and strategies were made by owner of tuition centre to increase their profit and

customer. Here we can see every have their own strategies and promotion. Student can learn,

discuss, and changes the question with other student from different school at tuition centre. They

also can get knowledge and new learning skills from teachers were taught at tuition centre. The

tuition centre also provides the space for student learn IT subject. In truth, the tuition centres

have many facilities for student and that’s why many students like to attend tuition at tuition

centre.

2.0 COMPANY BACKGROUND

Pusat Tuisyen Kristal Utama was established in 2002 and is registered under the Education

Act 1996 (JPS B3L0252). Since them establishment, they have educated more than 1,000

students at Primary and Secondary levels. With a dedicated and experienced team of educators

and staffs, they are proud of their proven track records of 100% passes every year for their

Pusat Tuition Kristal Utama is in the education business for 6 years in Port Klang now.

Currently they have opened a branch at Kelana Jaya due to an overwhelming request by parents.

Their goal, to help them excel in their studies, low grades is not an option. They have educational

outings, futsal competitions, etc for their students. Their methods of teaching are by using mind

mapping for their students. Their teachers are dedicated to student’s success. They're highly

qualified degree holders in their related fields.

At Pusat Tuisyen Kristal Utama, your success is guaranteed. They offer a wide range of

subjects with a very competitive fee structure. With their carefully-planned timetables, they offer

weekdays and weekend classes. Students now have the option to choose suitable class timing

according to their schedule.

The subjects was taught at Kristal Utama like Bahasa Melayu (writing, reading skills,

grammar), English (writing, reading skills, comprehension), Mathematics, Sejarah, Science,

Physic, Chemistry, Additional Math, Prinsip Akaun, Ekonomi Asas, Biology, Perdagangan, and

Geography.

They offer tuition classes from Standard 1 for UPSR and Form 1 for SPM, with extra classes

provided free to UPSR, PMR and SPM students. At Kristal Utama, your child's success is

guaranteed.

This vision for this tuition centre is providing tuition classes at an affordable cost. It is

because to enable them to continue to provide quality education. The other vision of this tuition

students.

latest syllabus and teaching format, proven learning techniques, have intensive revision

programmers, have educational trips, air-conditioned classroom, limited number of students per

class, and transportation can be arranged.

3.0 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

In the 21st century, the excellent in education is the important of elements in efforts to

produce quality teachers and students. So that, it is not surprising when many tuition centre

opened like mushrooms after the rain grows as a result of the individual who is usually measured

from the highest qualification academic assets. Parents also realize that they must start

hardworking to ensure the successful for their children in their educational future.

Every the tuition centre have their problems. Now, many students was attend classes tuition

centre. The students consist of several of ages whether students in primary and secondary

schools. Students also consist of any stage of intelligence smooth, medium, or weak. It is

because the teaching in school more focused to students who have the ability to the moderate and

smooth cause teaching tuition became popular? Not surprising then teacher also focus on

methods suitable for them. Teachers prefer to teach direct methods because it is said tuition is

one way that can be quickly and give many information. This practice is a common matter for

the teacher. Whether due to intervention teacher, peers, or parents was encourage students for

attends the tuition classes.

Finally, why tuition is so popular at the millennium? And why parents are willing to pay sum

of money to the tuition centre while their children were taught by teachers at school? Are parents

today are busy with their individuals tasks because that they not have time to train their children

willing to entrust it to others? Are the reasons that motivate parents sending their children to

attend tuition classes? How do the results monthly examinations and tests in school? Are

students with increased in their subjects they take? Can a student who attends classes tuition

divides time between classes tuition with homework given by teachers in schools?

4.0 SCOPE OF STUDY

The scope of study is about the factors that influence students attend to tuition classes.

The researcher search students like to attend to tuition classes because they want get new

knowledge and want increase their success in study. It is because at tuition classes they were

taught by different teacher from their school. They can get new information and knowledge

from the teacher. At tuition centre have much activity such as answer the question from

different school, learn computer, changes the idea from students at different school.

5.0 OBJECTIVES

1. To find information about factors influence student attend tuition classes.

2. To study the enthusiasm of student was attend to tuition classes.

3. To study about the influence of friends was encourage students to attend tuition classes.

4. To examine why parents like their children study at tuition classes.

5. To study the influence of teacher was taught at tuition classes.

6. To study the advantages of tuition centre.

9.0 LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

There are two limitations that need to be acknowledged and addressed regarding the

present study. The first limitation concerns the cross-disciplinary nature of this research

project. The commitment phenomenon was studied within the context of software process

improvement. The scope of the study was being limited to the factors that influence students

to attend tuition classes. Of the study of a student have their factors why they like study at

tuition classes.

The second limitation has to do with the extent to which the findings can be generalized

beyond the cases studied. The limitations of the study are often the time was researcher take

to find the answer of the factors and the finance and budget constraints the researcher use in

the proposal.

The other limitations of the study are students may have seen performance scores,

students all from the same school or different school, and unequal number of males and

females students.

10.0LITERATURE REVIEW

Literature review is a summary of previous research on a topic. Literature review

can be either a part of a larger report of a research project. It is an academic writing that

surveys different references sources and present information for the reader to analyze.

Pusat Tuisyen Pintar Cahaya is located in the heart of Ampang and has been

delivering high quality tuition classes and short courses since 2005. The tuition centre

attracts students of all ages who benefit from the high quality teaching & learning offered

by qualified and experienced teaching staff. The overall aim of the tuition centre is to

ensure that through high quality teaching & learning and personal coaching- students gain

the qualifications, broad knowledge, skills and experience to allow them to participate in

a competitive global economy.

11.0METHODOLOGY

The researcher fined the answer factors that influence students to attend tuition classes

with overview of approach, data collection, data analysis, interview and observation.

It is the techniques that researcher used to identify the research question such as

search internet.

11.2 Data collection

It is the data was collect from the tuition centre.

11.3 Data analysis

It is the data was analysis by researcher such as analysis from students and owner

of tuition centre.

11.4 Interview

The researcher also fined answer of question research from interview of students,

teachers, parents, and owner of tuition centre.

11.5 Observation

The researcher also makes the observation. It is the identify the problem have

from the tuition centre and the people around them.
