What is RMS

RMS is an innovative approach of managing the

mobilization and demobilization of resources

between projects and HR.

The software is web-based and linked with ERP

Objective

To ensure that on-going projects are equipped with pre-agreed

budgeted resources to meet timetables and milestones in

accordance with the stated contractual obligations and in

compliance with organizational policies.

To keep a record of resources for both deployed and released against

each budget item/resources to eventually assess availability of

resources and accurately plan staff and labor resource

requirements.

To standardize the process of communicating reports electronically on

manpower requisitions on the basis of site mobilization and

demobilization plan and maintain a consolidated database of the

overall manpower data inclusive of the project sites, business units

and corporate offices.

Note: This has reference to the Manpower Deployment on RMS

Forecast Resources

are based from the

Project Completion

Plan of a fully-

resourced Clause 14

program, to generate

the 2-months/8-weeks

look ahead.

The Forecast shall be

aligned with the

Target Schedule

which is a realistic

and achievable

improvement against

the Contract/Baseline

Schedule.

The Mobilization Notifications Project Resources

mobilization is a function

provided in the form of

new mobilization

notifications pre-

determined through

Resource Calendar Start

and End dates, for

scheduling, tracking and

resource allocation.

The pull-down menu of

Job Family and Master

Trade are resources

dictionary built-in the

RMS are mapped on

ERP-HR Trades List.

The Demobilization Notifications The Demobilization

Notifications portrays

the staff and labor

release plan, to enable

the Operations Team

to extract the

necessary manpower

required from

alternate HLG projects

in order to

complement the

existing manpower at

critical location(s) so

as to restore

efficiency and

increase productivity.

The Extension Request The Extension Request

feature provides an

option to extend

resources beyond the

prescribed

demobilization dates.

Upon confirmation the

selected resources shall

be removed from the

released list of the

Demobilization Screen

with the corresponding

extension specified on

the Calendar Dates.

The Reports

The Reports are classified as

Staff Allocation Report,

Mobilization & Demobilization

Report, Look Ahead Report

and Reports in Histograms.

Each report type can be

generated with the filters

provided such as the Resource

Type (All, HLG, Non-HLG),

Category (All, Staff, Labor), in

accordance with the Job

Family, Master Trade,

Employee Code, Employee

Name, Start Date, Roles etc.

Report Titles can also be

customized for each use.
