SUMMARY

During the summer of 2007 Pacific North West Capital (PFN) staked 91 mineral claims (1250 unit's) in three non-contiguous groups. The properties are located approximately 250 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario, 3 kilometres north of the Town of Marathon, Ontario and 40 kilometres west of the Hemlo Gold Camp. These claims are 100% owned by PFN and cover 20,254 hectares or 200 square kilometres of land. The property has been divided into four project areas: Coldwell West, Coldwell Central, Coldwell South, and Coldwell North.

Copper-platinum group metals (PGM) occurrences are associated with the Eastern Border Gabbro of a geological area known as the Coldwell Complex. There have been 13 Copper I PGM occurrences discovered in the area. For the purpose of this report PGM refers to platinum + palladium + gold.

In 2007, a VTEM survey over the entire Coldwell Complex was carried out by GE~otech on PFN's behalf. A regional lake bottom geochemistry survey was also performed by PFN the same year, covering a similar area (Report on a Helicopter-borne VTEM Geophysical Survey, February, 2008; Report of Work: Prospecting and Lake Bottom Geochemical Sampling Survey, April, 2008).

During August and September of 2008, an extensive prospecting program was carried out. This covered various claims within the West, Central, and North blocks, as well as the Duncan Option (work done in the option has been filed separately). The purpose was to follow-up on lake bottom anomalies, previous assays, and conductors identified during the airborne survey. Fifty-seven samples were collected and sent to Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay for multielement assay and ICP analysis.

?-.o ACCESS

Areas of the West Block and North Block where samples were taken were not accessible by road. Wilderness Helicopters out of Marathon was hired to transport personnel to the sites each day. The Central Block was accessed by Wolf Camp Lake Road off of Highway #17, and a boat was flown in to map Seeley Lake.

3.0 CLIMATE, LOCAL RESOURCES, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND PHYSIOLOGY

The climate in the region is similar to other Northwestern Ontario communities along Lake Superior. Summer temperatures reach a high of 35°C while winter can be as cold as -40°C. During these particular months, precipitation and fog occurred a few times each week. The closest town, Marathon, has a population of 4400 and a municipal airport, motels, services and suppliers.

The area is heavily vegetated with typical Boreal forest and variable topographic relief. Tag alders and spruce trees occupy the lowlands, and birch and coniferous trees occur on the hills. Deadwood and blowdown are a common occurrence in the dense bush. The elevation of Lake Superior is 260m above

sea level and the land within the property can reach around 550m above sea level. Local elevation changes of 150m within a horizontal distance of 100m can occur.

Bedrock occurs mostly at higher elevations and sharp ehanges in topography. Good exposure is limited as it is often covered by thick moss and/or lichen.

4.0 PROPERTY HISTORY

Copper and nickel were discovered in 1914 in the Wullie Lake area. There have been 12 more Cu occurrences found in Coldwell Complex since then. Compared with the adjacent greenstone belts, the amount of activity within the Coldwell Complex has been minimal, generally tightly focused and attempted by specialized companies.

In the early 1960's Anaconda made a large land acquisition along the eastern contact and this is where most of the exploration in the Coldwell Complex has occurred. In the late 1960's Anaconda drilled 36,000m and was able to come up a Cu-PGM zone, but by the 1980's discontinued any further work due to declining metal prices.

In the late 1980's Polymet Mining (previously Fleck) purchased 100% of the Anaconda property, and carried out a large exploration program which increased previous reserve estimates to 37 million tons.

Marathon PGM bought the Polymet Mining property outright in early 2004, holding the lower half of the east side of the complex.

Resource Estimate: Marathon completed a 40,000 m drilling campaign during 2007 in order to

increase the size of the existing resource. The success in expanding the resource (displayed below) resulted from a systematic approach to exploration. This success has been carried out in a cost effective manner - while ultimately expanding the value of the resource (see Table 1).

Early in 2007, Marathon completed a revised preliminary economic assessment in compliance with the provisions of National Instrument 43-101, which showed a measured resource of 39.2 million tonnes containing 1.6 million ounces of PGM and gold and 285 million pounds of copper, and an indicated resource of 28.9 million tonnes containing 1.1 million ounces of PGM and gold and 1'78 million pounds of copper. The report which was completed by P&E Minino Consultants Inc and filed on SEDAR on April 5, 2007, can be viewed in its entirety on the Marathon PGM Corp. website.

Benton Resources occupies the northern half of the east side of the complex where Anaconda did some work in the late '1960's. Recent exploration at Bermuda/Bamoos has uncovered significant mineralization over a strike length of 16km. Past and recent work indicates the property has the potential to host large resources of platinum, palladium and gold with base metal credits. Benton

has completed 59 drill holes to date north of the Marathon deposit and results thus far show significant drill intercepts very similar to the Marathon deposit (Benton Resources Corp website, 2007).

Discovery PGM Exploration Ltd. has the Geordie Lake deposit with an indicated resource of 24.4 million tonnes (non 43-101 compliant) averaging 0.326 % Cu, 0.537 glt Pd, 0.007 % Co, 0.011 % Ni, 0.030 glt Pt, 2.52g/t Ag and 0.04 glt Au. An additional 5.4 million tonnes are considered inferred at an average grade of 0.360 % Cu, 0.626 glt Pd, 0.007 % Co, 0.012% Ni, 0.040 glt Pt, 3.04 glt Ag and 0.05 glt Au. PFN has been actively working in the Coldwell area since 2007. A lake bottom geochemical survey was performed using a helicopter during September, 2007 (Report of Work: Prospecting and Lake Bottom Geochemical Sampling Survey, April, 2008). A total of 523 lake sediment samples were collected from over 450 lakes (covering the Coldwell Complex and Duncan Option), and sent for multi- element analysis. A limited prospecting and sampling program was also initiatled with a total of 120 rock grab samples collected and sent for assay. In late 2007, a helicopter-borne VTEM geophysical survey was completed, covering the majority of the Coldwell Complex (411 km2

) (Report on a Helicopter-borne vrEM Geophysical Survey, February, 2008). In June, 2008, prospecting was done in the Duncan Option and the Central Block (Report of Work: Prospecting on the Duncan Option, June, 2008).

5.0 GEOLOGIC SETTING

The Coldwell Alkaline Complex is a 580 km2, Proterozoic age, alkalic

intrusive body. Radiometric age determinations for the Coldwell fall around 1108 +1- 1 Ma (Heaman and Machado, 1987). The intrusion is composed of three unmetamorphosed, related intrusive centers termed Center I, II and III. Center I is the oldest of the three and located on the eastern edge of the Coldwell. It is composed of sheet-like cones of augite syenite and has a peripheral ring dyke complex composed of several gabbro units. Center II is located to the west which is also the direction of younging. It is composed of an outer ring of alkalic gabbro to diorite with a center core o'f nepheline syenite, pyroxene syenite and quartz syenite. Center III is the youngest and furthest west. It consists of an arcuate sheet of nepheline syenite, amphibole syenite, and quartz syenite. Also within this center are fine-grained syenites and lamprophyre dikes (Sage, 1991).

Hosting the intrusion is the Archean age Schreiber-White River greenstone belt. It trends east-west and is separated by the Coldwell into two segments. The older segment is the Hemlo-Black assemblage (ca. 2.77 Ga)

Coldwell Project 2008 6 Pacific North West Capital Corp.

which is located above the Lake Superior Hemlo fault zone. The younger segment is the Heron Bay assemblage (ca. 2.70 Ga) which is south of the fault zone (Williams et aI., 1991). The separated greenstone belts have undergone regional amphibolite facies metamorphism. Lithologies consist of:

• A mafic volcanic unit with pillowed, massive, and foliated flows as well as gabbroic and peridotitic intrusions.

• Calc alkalic mafic to felsic banded pyroclastic rocks. • Sedimentary rocks consisting of greywacke, iron formation and

conglomerate transitioning into the mafic flows.

6.0 PROPERTY GEOLOGY

The Seeley Lake area is located in Center I (as detailed above). Bedrock geology consists of iron-rich augite syenite. This is generally seen as medium grainl3d, equigranular, K-feldspar- and augite-bearing rock. Mineralization is limited to minor pyrite within the highly magnetic, often oxidized syenite. There is a small gabbroic intrusion east of Seeley Lake. Chalcopyrite mineralization is present in the mafic material mostly in veins and fractures, but occasionally occurs in the groundmass (Fig. 3). Syenite veins are present separating portions of this gabbro, so its relative age is debatable.

The area sampled termed Northeast Coldwell (see Fig. 2) is beyond the complex in a well foliated, mafic metavolcanic unit. These rocks are fairly typical of this lithology: fine-grained, generally non-magnetic, with occasional pyrite mineralization. The Llnit strikes to the northeast with -600 dip to the northwest.

The Camp Lake area is also located beyond the Coldwell Complex to the north. Regional mapping of this area shows multiple volcanic 'arms' extending north and northeast of the complex. Ground sampling revealed metasediment interlayered with tonalite gneiss (Fig. 4). At least one airborne conductor was demonstrated to be due to graphite within the metasediment unit.

Work was also done in the Foxtrap Lake area located northwest of the Coldwell Complex. The dominant lithology is a foliated tonalite to granodiorite. Often a very felsic, non-foliated granite was seen. Metasediments were also sampled bearing disseminated pyrite. Also found in this area is an olivine gabbro intrusion. This is a medium-grained, porphyritic unit with chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, and pyrite mineralization. Although the extent of the unit is difficult to estimate, its dimensions are likely on the order of hundreds of meters.

"1.0 PROSPECTING

Four areas were targeted for prospecting (Fig. 2): Seeley Lake, Foxtrap Lake, Camp Lake, and the Northeast Coldwell. Fifty-seven rock samples were taken by PFN personnel based on airborne anomalies, lake bottom geochemistry anomalies, known occurrences, and local geology. Four EM conductors were investigated in the North and West blocks (Table 2) and numerous lake bottom anomalies were used in the planning of traverses (Table 3). A magnetic susceptibility meter was used in the field and high values were particularly made note of and sampled. A handheld GPS unit (NAD 83, zone 16) was used to record locations of samples and outcrops and field notes were made by hand. A daily log of prospecting activity is located in Appendix B.

Samples were placed in plastic sample bags, tagged, and sent to Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay, ON (see Appendix C for descriptions). They were assayed for Au, Pt, Pd, Ni, Cu, and Co. An ICP analysis was also done so that rock types may be further defined (Appendix D). Certificates of Analysis and Lab Procedures can be found in Appendices E and F.

B.O RECOMMENDATIONS

Work in the Foxtrap Lake area has revealed an olivine gabbro body of undetermined size. There is one PGM anomaly (313 ppb Au+Pd+Pt) as well as numerous significant copper and nickel results (up to 1604 ppm Cu; 1475 ppm Ni). Further prospecting and mapping should be done here to define the extent of the body and retrieve additional samples for assay'.

ACCURASSAYLABORATORYPROCEDURES

Sample Preparation

The rock samples are first entered into Accurassay Laboratories' Local Information Management System (UMS). The samples are dried, if necessary, and then jaw crushed to approximately 8 mesh and a 250 to 500 gram subsample is taken. The sub-sample is pulverized to 90% 150 mesh and then matted to ensure homogeneity. Silica sand is used to clean out the pulverizing dishes between each to prevent cross contamination. The homogeneous sample is then sent to the fire assay laboratory or the wet chemistry laboratory depending on the analysis required.

Precious Metal Analysis

For the analysis of precious metals (gold, platinum, palladium andlor rhodium), the sample is mixed with a lead based flux fused for one hour and fifteen minutes. Each sample had a silver solution added to it prior to fusion which allows each sample to produce a precious metal bead after cupellation. The fusing process results are lead buttons that contains all of the precious metals from the sample as well as the silver that was added. The button is then placed in a cupelling furnace where all of the lead is absorbed by the cupel and a silver bead, which contains any gold, platinum and palladium, is left in the cupel. The cupel is removed from the furnace and allowed to cool. Once the cupel has cooled sufficiently, the silver bead is placed in an appropriately labelled test tube and digested using aqua regia. The samples are bulked up with 1.0 ml of distilled de-ionized water and 1.0 ml of 1% digested lanthanum solution. The samples are allowed to cool and are mixed to ensure proper homogeneity of the solution. Once the samples have settled they are analyzed for gold, platinum and palladium using atomic absorption spectroscopy. The atomic absorption spectroscopy unit is calibrated for each element using the appropriate ISO 9002 certified standards in an air-acetylene flame. The results for the atomic absorption are checked by the technician and then forwarded to data entry by means of electronic transfer and a certificate is produced. The Laboratory Manager checks the data and validates the certificates and issues the results in the client requested format.

Base Metal Analysis

Samples analyzed for base metals (copper nickel, cobalt, lead, zinc, and silver) are weighed for a geochemical analysis and digested using aqua regia. The Hamples are bulked to a final volume and mixed. Once the samples have settled they are analyzed for copper, nickel and cobalt using atomic absorption spectroscopy.

NOTE: Any sample that contains a concentration of greater than 10,000 ppm of any element is sent back for an ore grade assay for that element. This assay is similar to the geochemical assay but requires a greater sample mass and final volume.

Quality Control

Accurassay Laboratories employs an internal quality control system that tracks certified reference materials and in-house quality assurance standards. Accurassay Laboratories uses a combination of reference materials, including reference materials purchased from CANMET, standards created in-house by Accurassay Laboratories and tested by round robin with laboratories across Canada, and ISO certified calibration standards purchased from suppliers. 8hould any of the standards fall outside the warning limits (+I- 28D); re-assays will be performed on 10% of the samples analyzed in the same batch and the reassay values are compared with the original values. If the values from the reassays match original assays the data is certified, if they do not match the entire batch is re-assayed. Should any of the standard fall outside the control limit (+1-38D) all assay values are rejected and all of the samples in that batch will be reassayed.
