Fire Mountan Pfoperty Claim TB 1248061
^ o -Generalized Property Geology
The Fire Mountain Property is underlain by two distinct environments of the Schreiber-Hemlo Greenstone Belt. The southern half of the property covers the northeast trending sequence of greywacke sediments, gabbro-diorite intrusives (ultramafic flows ?), pillowed mafic volcanics and narrow felsic flows and tuffs. The northern half of the property covers the thick east-west trending mafic pillowed flows and tuffs to felsic pyroclastics, tuffs and flows. The two sequences of the property are on either side of a synclinal axis.
The northeast trending sequences in the southern half of the property are structurally complex due to the northeast trending faults (Williams 1989). Regional mapping has identified extensive carbonate alteration within the gabbro-diorite, mafic volcanic and sediment contacts along the fault structures. Alteration zones of 100's of meters are present at the contact of pillowed volcanics and graphitic pyrite bearing argillites ( Schnieders 1987 ). Intense carbonate-silica alteration associated with green muscovite and quartz veinlets has been identified in two location approximately 2 kilometers apart ( Bernie Schnieders Pers. Comm.). Pillowed flows indicate a northwest facing direction. The metamorphic grade of the south half of the property increases northward. Walter ( 1967 ) identified the biotite and garnet isograds crossing the property in a northeast trend.
The east-west trending sequences in the north half of the property consists of the south limb of a anticlinal sequence with the pillowed mafic volcanics to the south of the intermediate to felsic units. West of the property felsic intrusive dikes/sills are subcordant to stratigraphy. Sodium depletion anomalies associated to alteration have been noted within the intermediate-felsic volcanics. A large potassium radiometric anomaly has been identified in the north portion of the property. A potassium alteration ground source has not been located to date. Feldspar porphyritic intrusives have been noted within the area of the anomaly ( B. Schnieders Pers. Comm.). The pillowed flows indicate a south facing direction. The metamorphic grade of the north half of the property increases northward. Walker (1967 ) identified the amphibolite isograd to be east-west parallel to the north boundary of the property.
A regional airborne radiometric survey completed by the Geological Survey of Canada has been completed on the Schreiber-Hemlo area. The survey identifies Potassium Anomalies potentially associated to mineralization similar to the Hemlo deposits. The northern area of the Fire Mountain West Property adjacent Spider Lake property host a airborne Potassium anomaly that has not been explained.
4.0 Prospecting l Geological Mapping
Most of the Fire Mountain West property claim TB 1248061 was geologically mapped and prospected with emphasis on prospecting in order to locate significant mineralization in Gold/PGE and Base Metal.
Mineralization on the Fire Mountain West property:
The mineralization lies within a major regional-scale deformation zone initially in OGS mapping, with the property covering some parts in the northern section of the major splay-fault structures as they cut through a variety of more-or-less altered mafic and ultramafic rocks as well as graywacke-siltstone sedimentary rocks. The overall map distrigution of the various rocks display classical sigmoidal shapes as in volcanic rocks, felsic and mafic intrusive rocks as well as numerous planar to curvilinear faults and shear zones. There are extensive areas of carbonate alteration in both the sedimentary and mafic volcanic rocks, as well as more limited zones of silicification . Rocks indentified on the available OGS maps as iron-formations in fact consist of a variety of rock types favourable for Gold mineralization which may be of structural-alteration origin including: (l)chert (tuff) with sulphides and minor magnetite; (2) sulphide-bearing sugar quartz and ribbon quartz; and (3) rusty weathering siliceous, graphide schist. The area is intruded granitoid stocks as well as felsic porphyritic bodies which are themselves show drag-folded outlines within the axis of major deformation area.
5.0 Work conducted on the Fire Mountain West property.

5.1 Work completed
a. Flagged traverse lines and geological mapping ( along the traverse lines) on the above mining claims.
b. Rock samples over mineralized out crops along traverse lines. All sample where taking with a Geo tool.
c. A total of 17 sample where obtained for assay..
d. Topographic features (trail, lakes, creeks and old grid lines) were also used for control mapping and prospecting.
6.0 Results and Conclusion
17 Rock samples were collected from the Fire Mountain West property claim TB 1248061.
Most of the Fire Mountain West property claim TB 1248061 was geologically mapped and prospected with emphasis on prospecting in order to locate significant mineralization.
We (the prospectors) located no more significant mineralization on that claim block.Several areas on the property where prospected in the year 2004 where we found anomaly rocksamples in Au, Cu and Zn.
6.1 RECOMMENDATIONS
Because of the existence of favorable stratigraphy on the property, the presence of geophysical anomalies associated with gold and base metal mineralization on the property, a program of geological mapping, trenching, soil and rock geochemical surveys supplemented by induced polarization surveys is recommended on the Fire Mountain West property claim TB 1248061 to out line the targets for diamond drilling.
