TOPLINE series is setting new standards in

awnings. No other awning can be fitted with so

many extras. The Variovolant, an add-on valance,

extendable to 160 cm, is the perfect anti-glare

and privacy screen. The TOPLINE swivel action

with its own crank drive allows for a tilting of

the awning of up to 80°, a feature which is of

particular use for protecting against a low-lying

sun. The TOPLINE series comes motorised as stan-

dard. Long life, high quality and ease-of-use are

the main features in this range of awnings.

Strong arms the centrepieceWhen you choose an awning, a high-quality mecha-

nism is of vital importance if you want reliability and

a long lifespan. All WO&WO retractable awnings

are tried and tested quality products with very strong

folding arms. The TOPLINE folding arm is fitted with

4x cable pull, which has been tested to withstand

70,000 movement sequences and can endure the

severest of strains (up to wind power class 3).

TIP FOR WEST-FACING FACADES

The valance is the awning‘s decorative fina-

le. One extra feature on the TOPLINE models

is the „Variovolant“, an extra valance, which

can be extended vertically by up to 160cm

from the front edge of the awning. This pro-

tects not just against prying eyes but also

against a low-lying sun.

TOPLINE

We use only the finest technical systems and

materials, so you can be sure your TOPLINE

awning is a quality product. Even the standard

model, the open TOPLINE, comes supplied with

extras such as the Variovolant and what we call

the „swivel unit“. A rain cover to protect the

awning material can also be fitted.

TOPLINE PLUS

On the TOPLINE PLUS an elegant casing

protects the awning material when retracted.

Extras such as the Variovolant and the swivel

unit transform the TOPLINE PLUS into a top per-

former. An integrated brush seal removes dust

from the awning fabric as it is retracted.

TOPLINE CASSETTE

An attractive aluminium cassette protects not just the

material, but also the TOPLINE CASSETTE‘s folding

arms from environmental degradation. A slim and

stylish design and timeless elegance bestow on

the TOPLINE CASSETTE a outstanding position in

the awning market. The TOPLINE CASSETTE is of

course also available with Variovolant – a unique

feature for cassette awnings.

UV protectionAcrylic fabrics are high-quality awning fabrics incorporating several supporting fabrics that

make them ideal for demanding outdoor applicati-ons. The UV protection of the fabrics according to UV Standard 801 ranges from factor 40 to 80.

Self-cleaningswela®sunsilk SNC is a high-tech polyester fabric. The material offers superb properties such as nano-surface fi nishing with self-cleaning effect, a UV block to protect the human skin and the fabric, as well as improved winding. On top of it, it is extraordinarily durable.

In addition to choosing the fabric for the awning, you can also decide what you want your valance to look like. We offer a choice of 6 different valance types and many different colours for the borders (see right).

Textiles with added function

TexGard - Easy-Clean

Special textile fi nishing gives the product a series of

useful properties. This includes low dirt absorption

of the fabrics, high water repellence and reduced

surface tension. Due to the special material fi xing system, this effect is

also extremely long-lasting. Moisture, water and dirt are kept out as

much as possible.

PVC - Soltis® (used on the Variovolant)

Soltis®-fabrics allow much more natural light through, have a very high

degree of transparency and with that comes good external visibility.

In addition Soltis fabrics are weatherproof and can resist all climate

conditions without degradation. They also retain their fl exibility and

mechanical qualities.

All-Weather

All-Weather quality is a single-sided fi nish, manufactured from spin-

neret-dyed branded acrylic. Among the main attributes are excellent

sunshade combined with protection from drizzle and light rain.

Eco-Tex Standard 100

Eco-Tex Standard 100 is a testing and certifi cation

system which ensures that textile products fall within

the safety limits for specifi c harmful substances.

Prevent overheating

Use an awning to reduce solar radiation and stop

your home from overheating.

Frame colours

You have a wide choice of fabric colours and also

box colours. If you are not happy with standard

white (RAL 9010), bright ivory (RAL 1015) and

silver (RAL 9006), then you have another 210

additional RAL colours to choose from.

More overhang than widthWith this option the arms are vertically offset and

attached to the blind in crossover format. With crossed

arms, it is possible to achieve a greater awning over-

hang than the awning width.

Heater & light rampJust because the light fades as the day ends, it does

not mean you have to move indoors. Equip your

awning with a light strip and terrace heating (infra-red)

and enjoy dusk and early evening on your terrace.

TIPP FOR UNTARNISHED JOY

As a general rule, only experienced specialists should install

WO&WO products. Unless this prerequisite is fulfi lled, you

cannot make any claims under the statutory two-year warranty.

Installation & operationRetractable awnings from WO&WO are easy to fi t and so are ideal

for any home situation. You can, for example, fi t the awning to the

wall, beneath the ceiling or to the rafters.

When it comes to the operating controls, TOPLINE awnings always

come up trumps too. A motorised control is standard, but you may

prefer a radio-controlled motor or a crank operated system.

The shaded area beneath the awning depends on the position of the

sun at any one time. When the sun is at its lowest or with west-facing

facades and there is only a small overhang, it is likely that there will

be insuffi cient shade. A greater overhang, a steeper pitch or a Vario-

volant will probably provide the right amount of shade.

TIP AND IF IT GETS REALLY WINDY

Awnings must be protected from too much

wind. The Eolis 3D WireFree RTS radio wind

sensor provides a simple and inobtrusive soluti-

on. This innovative sensor measures the move-

ments of the awning fabric and if the wind

speed reaches a certain level, a radio signal

automatically triggers retraction. Thus reliably

protecting your awning.

Comfort comes as standardLight and shade at the touch of a button. The motorised

drive is not just easy-to-use, but very handy when the

awning is in an awkward-to-access position. The

motor drive is standard on the TOPLINE series.

All awning functions can be remotely-controlled

(optional). One added benefi t of this is that there

is no need for cabling between awning and

operating control.

TIP COMFORT WITH NO BUTTONS TO PRESS

The solar-powered automatic device activates

the retraction and extension of the awning,

when the sunlight value falls short of or ex-

ceeds the preset value. The-

se preset values can be

adjusted on the rear

of the appliance.

TIPP VARIOMOTION

A Variovolant is an additional valance,

which hangs on the front side of the awning

and can be extended to 160 cm. Variomo-

tion is the electrically-operated, 24V Vari-

ovolant. The Variovolant‘s radio control is

easy-to-use and as quiet as a whisper.
