Sizing SoftwareFor safety and relief valves

ApplicationsThe sizing software for Safety and Relief Valves developed by

Spirax Sarco, PSV Calc, is an intuitive user-friendly software that has numerous advantages over other existing software in the market, including:

Specifi cations of Safety Relief Valves, conventional, balanced and pilot-operated types;

Specifi cations of Safety Relief Valves, for use in Steam, gas, vapors, liquids, and even “Biphasic” condition;

Pre-registration of fl uids commonly used in industry.

Analyses the process data with the characteristics of the selected valve, preventing the user to generate common errors in the specifi cation, based on ASME I and ASME VIII and API RP-520 and API RP-526;

Sizing calculation for the ori ce and individual analysis of each variable involved in the calculation (graphically or mathematically);

Calculates “reaction force” and “noise” generated during the valve opening, important for the calculation of installation fl exibility and environmental conditions information;

Useful auxiliary tools like “Unity Conversions”.
