Adjust-O-Seal®
The exclusive PBM Adjust-O-Sealdesign allows in-line adjustment tocompensate for normal wear onseats. This reduces downtime,maintenance, and repair costs byincreasing the time between seatreplacements. The valve seats arealways compressed against theball. This keeps process media outof the body chamber surroundingthe ball. The Adjust-O-Seal designis a standard feature on mostPBM ball valves.
PBM offers a selection of pneumatic and electric actuation packages. Most PBM valves aredesigned to accept Direct Mount Actuation that utilizes the valve stem as an integral part of theactuator drive. This design provides improved cycling life and performance, while reducing thetotal package profile. Direct Mount Actuation also eliminates the need for additional brackets orextensions. Certain PBM valvesprovide CIP capabilityin applications wherematerial can becometrapped in the bodycavity or where it maybe necessary to sanitizethe valve with steam ora cleaning agent.
