The majority of U.S. healthcare costs are due to
preventable behaviors. Chronic illnesses largely tied to
lifestyle and unhealthy behaviors account for more than
75% of the $2.9 trillion in annual healthcare spending.1
Healthcare costs are just part of the problem. The
productivity loss caused by health-related absenteeism
and presenteeism costs companies significantly more
than medical costs alone.2 In response, organizations
are turning to workplace health programs to improve
employee health.
The market is saturated with workplace “wellness”
programs that don’t work. Despite the surge in
wellness programs, during the past decade, workers
and employers have experienced a dramatic 80%
total increase in health insurance premiums.3 A recent
review of programs promoting worker health found
that most programs lack evidence of effectiveness

In line with the national obesity rate, 33% of participants were obese before starting HTHU. After participation, the obesity rate dropped to 22.2% of the population.
This is critical, as obesity increases the risk for heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancers.

The percentage of employees with systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the pre-hypertensive range decreased significantly.
WEIGHT LOSS (OBESE POPULATION)
Obese participants lost an average of 10.1 pounds over 15+ month period, equaling 4.8% of their body mass.
As a comparison, a recent analysis of workplace weight loss programs found that participants lost only 0.5% of their body mass over 12 months.*

HOW IT WORKS
Participants receive a high-tech pedometer and our comprehensive proprietary 12-session playbook to
jumpstart their path to better health. Level 1 gives participants the foundation
of knowledge and skills proven to increase physical activity, improve
nutrition, and lower high blood pressure.
Boost results in Level 2 with sessions designed to expand
and enhance foundational skills.All participants receive a strength
band and a new playbook covering new topics such as nutrition for an active lifestyle, sleep, and understanding depression.
Kick it into high gear with advanced activities and additional tracking
capabilities for more experienced users. In Level 3, participants receive a clinically-validated digital blood pressure monitor to track their health and progress. Topics include cross training, injury prevention,
