Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

We must choose our friends carefully.

God tells us

Choose friends of godly character, because you will act like your

friends over time.

People choose the friends they choose for a reason.

They admire and enjoy them.

21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

(NIV) Misfortune pursues the sinner, but prosper-ity is the reward of the righteous.

We choose the life we live by the way we live our lives.

Psalm 34:19 (TLB) The good man does not escape all troubles -- he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.

Deuteronomy 30 19-20 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey His Voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days: …

Choose a blessed life by living God’s Way.

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

We may not see the fulfillment of this Proverb in a generation or two, but we

will see it in the future.

23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.

Use God’s Provision wisely.

Don’t waste anything.Work hard, faithfully, and smart.

Do quality work.

Then take care of what you earn.

24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

A son or daughter who is not disciplined will go his or her own way, and that leads to destruction.

Proverbs 22 6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

It’s not that the wicked don’t obtain enough; it’s that they

are never content.

1 Timothy 6 8-11 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.
