Prov 1:24 Because I [Wisdom] have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

1 Corinthians 1 30 But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Clearly we could substitute “Jesus” for wisdom in these verses.

24 Because I [Jesus] have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

2 Corinthians 3 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Proverbs 30 5 Every Word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.

Luke 4 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God.

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of My Counsel: they despised all My Reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

All who reject any portion of the Word of God will reap the consequences of their own way

and their own devices.

It’s all good and perfect for living.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Anything done or anything gained contrary to the Holy Word of God is destructive.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

All that is done with the whole heart in accordance with the Word of God is blessed.
