On November 19th, the “Thompson Tornadoes” and the “Nelsonators” played the most electrifying, but brutal game of football. The game was truly a “Clash of the Titans”. The game took place at Kid’s Paradise Park in Paw Paw. Even though the

PIZZA, PIZZA by Erin Terrell
On November 20, The CTC held its first Talent Show, and anyone who attended will tell you that it was a huge suc-cess! The Talent Show was coordinated by Miss Dana Torp (thank you so much!), and the delicious treats were prepared by one of our cooking classes (Kate, Kaytlyn, Kristen, and Daniel). The variety of acts was amazing; we never knew how much talent we had within our building! The show started with a welcome poem presented by the choir (Howard, Kate, Christine, Jasmine, Vivian, Shaylin, Elia, Linda, Delcie, Shar’ron, Ashlee, Jessica P, Jessica M, Chelsea, Shawna, and Erica), and then Jasmine sang “With You”, by Chris Brown. Next, Howard and Kate sang a duet from “High School Musical” called “Breaking Free”. I even showed the crowd my talent by singing “Breakaway”, by Kelly Clarkson. Emily impressed us all with her great dancing to, “1, 2, Step” by Ciara. Delcie sang “Begin Again”, by Taylor Swift, and Shawna, Ashlee, and Shar’ron “blew us away” by singing, “Blown Away”, by Carrie Underwood. Shaylin sang a beautiful version of “Stranded”, by Heart, and then Ed filled the room with rhythm with his great drumming. Next, Elia and Jessica P. sang the song “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers, and Kate followed by singing, “Time of Your Life”, by Green Day. Howard was our comedian, and he entertained us with an assortment of funny jokes - NOT! (He was hilarious!) The choir finished the song with “We are the World”. It was a great ending to a great show which I hope becomes a tradition at the CTC!

Hello! Welcome to Little Caesars. We are your hard working “pizza geniuses”, Erin and Howard. If you would like to
know what it is like to work at Little Caesars, sit back and pay attention because we are about to tell you!
Howard and I both stay very busy while we are on our job sites; we help prepare the pizzas and bread sticks, in addition to other menu items, and hand customers their orders. We also do some serious cleaning, such as washing the windows, doing the dishes, taking out the trash, and sweeping the parking lot. It’s a lot of work, but is also fun because of the other staff members that are working with us.
The next time you bite into a nice Hot ’N Ready pizza, just think about how much work goes into the production that pizza. And, if you want to see us “on the job”, stop by in Paw Paw in the morning and say, “hi”!

Hmmm... LAVENDER PUMPKINS? Mrs. Garzella’s class painted pumpkins lavender for epilepsy awareness.
November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month. We thought painting pumpkins would be a fun activity and would get people talking about epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a misfire of electrical charges in the brain which causes sei-zures. There are forty types of seizures. Some are really bad and others are mild. About 3 million people in the U.S. have epilepsy and 50 million worldwide. In most cases it is unknown why the brain is not functioning properly. Other cases may stem from a head trauma, a high fever, a stroke or other traumas to the brain.
There are three ways to treat epilepsy: medication, brain surgery, and eating a special diet. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle will also help control seizures. It is important to take your medication, eat regularly, get enough sleep, avoid triggers such as flickering lights, and be happy! Some common misconceptions of epilepsy are that it is contagious and that people having seizures are “crazy”. Both statements are false! We hope that our purple pumpkins raised awareness in our building and in the homes of CTC students. -By Addison Keller

Featuring the Fearless Duo of Brad S. and Patric B! On Thursday, November 15, two students from the CTC made the decision to take advantage of the free student haircuts offered at the Technology Center. Both Brad and Patric had LOTS of hair on which the stylists were able to demonstrate their skills and crea-tivity. Both Brad and Patric were extremely happy with their haircuts, and agreed that they wouldn’t wait so long before they go back to the “Soon 2-B Stylists” at the Cosmetology Program, and would like to thank them for offering such a great service. Please support the Cosmetology students by giving them a try!

It was a CHILLY wagon ride and “stroll” through the “Alan Jackson” corn maze!
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Put cooked spaghetti into 9 x 13” greased baking dish.
3. In a medium saucepan heat together soup, water, butter, and bouillon.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil and then pour over the pasta and chicken.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
5. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is browned and casserole is bubbly.
Ingredients:
1 lb. cooked and drained spaghetti
5 cooked and cubed chicken breasts
2 (10.75 oz) cans cream of chicken soup
2 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup butter
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
