In Honduras alone, there are 350,000 homes like this and every one wants a stove.

Why make the effort forthe Gold Standard?

• The Gold Standard gets the highest price per ton of any VER project and as high as some CER y p j gprojects because of the proven environmental and social benefits of its members.

• If we handle certification ourselves, the project earns the cash from Carbon and we eliminate middle men such as JP Morgan that make themiddle men such as JP Morgan that make the real cash by trading our valuable VER’s.

The Application Process

2. Open an account.

• Join the Gold Standard Registry by completing an application form and signing their agreements. pp g g g

• Get the 84 page tool kit to help you figure out what to do. 1 week of time, $

• Project MUST have concept of Additonality; i. e. Without the project’s investment, the program

3. Hold an LSCR Local Stakeholders Consultation MeetingInvolve the community in a scripted formal program• Involve the community in a scripted formal program

• Receive CAR’s (Corrective Action Requests) from GS.• Prepare a response. 10 pages, $$

4. Submit Passport, prepare PDD, find UN DOE Validator
