Our “take-aways”
• Haverford students have NOT changed.• The assessment HAS changed.• Some content must be taught a full grade
level earlier than under the previous Academic Content Standards
• New assessments require deeper knowledge, stronger problem solving and critical thinking skills
Our actions
• We will stay the course implementing curricula aligned to the PA Core standards which were Department Of Education approved in late 2013
