PTO News Hello Runkle School, It is so hard to believe we are entering our last full week of the school year! This year wasn't what any of us expected when we walked into Runkle on September 5th, but even with everything that has happened we have stayed a strong community of parents, students, and staff. Everyone has worked so hard and helped contribute immensely this year, and we thank you. This week is a big week as we celebrate our graduating 8th graders! On Thursday, there will be a virtual graduation ceremony as well as a socially distant diploma pick up for the 8th graders and their families at Runkle. While we cannot be there in person to celebrate our 8th graders, we are encouraging Runkle families who live close to school to hang signs/decorations outside their houses to congratulate the grads and their families as they drive to school, and for students/families to chalk messages of support and congrats on the sidewalks around school to help bring joy and community to our 8th graders and their families. The weather looks dry for the week, so I am planing on chalking messages on Wednesday afternoon to be ready for Thursday! We will miss our 8th graders, wish them luck in high school and their future endeavors, and hope we can send them off in socially distant style!
