Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the programme, delegates should be able to

• analyse leadership and related theories in a work context • apply a systems approach to decision making • identify and interpret best practice guidelines, and plan for

management.

Who should enrol?

Public officials who wish to improve their management skills and work towards achieving a SAQA Qualification.

Programme fees

R16 800.00 per delegate (VAT incl.)Programme fees include all course material, refreshments and other materials.

Programme fees must be paid in full 14 days prior to course start dates. Proof of payment can be submitted to [email protected].

Admission requirements

Prospective delegates should at least have a Matric qualification.

University of Pretoria Articulation

Those who successfully completed this course and have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent may apply for admission towards the MPA programme offered at the School of Public Management and Administration, University of Pretoria.

Those who aspire to get a formal qualification on a Bachelor’s Degree level, may apply for entry at the School of Public Management and Administration at the University of Pretoria upon successful completion of the short courses and programmes offered by Enterprises University of Pretoria.

The University of Pretoria is registered as a multi-purpose service provider by the Council of Higher Education (CHE).

PSETA will include the learner details in the National Learner Database upon successful completion of this unit standard. This unit standard contributes 26 credits towards the National Certificate in Public Administration Management (SAQA ID 50060, NQF Level 6) issued by the PSETA.

Accreditation and certification

Enterprises University of Pretoria (Pty) Ltd is wholly owned by the University of Pretoria. As a public higher education institution, the University of Pretoria functions in accordance to the Higher Education Act 101 of 1997. Enterprises University of Pretoria offers short courses on behalf of the University and these short courses are not credit-bearing, and do not lead to formal qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) – unless stated otherwise. Delegates who successfully complete a short course and comply with the related assessment criteria (where applicable) are awarded certificates of successful completion and/or attendance by the University of Pretoria.
