PUBLIC NOTICE Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Gleason Generating Facility has applied to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of Air Pollution Control for a Phase II Acid Rain Permit subject to the provisions of Tennessee Air Pollution Control Regulations (TAPCR) 1200-03-09- .02(11) and 1200-03-30 and 40 CFR Part 72. The permit is identified as follows: Division identification number 92-0108/77421 – Phase II Acid Rain Permit. Pursuant to 40 CFR §72.72(b)(1)(v), the State permitting authority may, in its discretion, issue, as a single document, a draft Acid Rain permit in accordance with 40 CFR §72.72(b)(1)(ii) and a proposed Acid Rain permit and may provide public notice of the opportunity for public comment on the draft Acid Rain permit in accordance with 40 CFR §72.72(b)(1)(iii). If no significant, adverse comment on the draft Acid Rain permit is timely submitted, the proposed Acid Rain permit will be deemed to be issued on August 31, 2020 without further notice. If significant, adverse comments are timely submitted, the Division of Air Pollution Control will incorporate all necessary changes and issue a proposed Acid Rain permit or denial in accordance with 40 CFR Parts 72 and 76. The Division of Air Pollution Control has elected to issue a draft Acid Rain permit and a proposed Acid Rain permit as a single document. Pursuant to TAPCR 1200-03-09-.02(11)(g)3, no permit shall be issued if the EPA Administrator objects to its issuance in writing within 45 days of receipt of the proposed permit and its level of supporting information. Copies of the draft permit and application materials are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the following locations: Jackson Environmental Field Office 1625 Hollywood Dr, Jackson, TN 38305 and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Division of Air Pollution Control William R.
