1 Safe Respectful Learners Term 2 Week 8 Newsletter 16 June 2020 Public School Today we opened our new Culture Hub! Ann, Robbie and Alex now have a room completely set up to teach language and build culture through focused 8 ways pedagogy lessons. The room looks great and together they team teach classes across the school. The room is full of artefacts and books. The students go to the room to learn and share with their teacher. Everybody sharing and learning together. We will have the unofficial opening when we are able to have our gates open to everyone. To consolidate learning, Alex and Robbie are teaching Tradional Indigenous Games to Stage 3 daily. Great way to start the day! Chooks We have four beauful new addions to our garden, Chooks! We hope they can supply us eggs soon. We will be holding a compleon to name them shortly. All classes get to go and visit and check out the “girls”. Thanks to Sue for all her work to build us the Taj Mahal of chook sheds. We hope to have a rabbit join our menagerie shortly. Helmets Reminder about riding bikes to school - Students must have a helmet to ride to school. It is the law. Kindergarten Enrolments for 2021 We have Kinder enrolment packs available in the office.
