SCHOOL NEWSLETTER Issue 28 2020
World Teachers Day
Last Friday we celebrated World Teachers Day. We would like to
thank our staff for bringing out the best in our students, for building
relationships with our school community and being the most
incredible collegial team of professionals. Thank you, for not only the
everyday efforts that come with teaching and learning but also for
the unseen and for shaping the minds and hearts of our next
generation.
Bush School
Students will need to wear Bush School clothes on Friday as staff will
be taking students down to the Rosebank Reserve for planned
activities.
School Swimming Scheme
School swimming commences next Monday. Please return
permission notes ASAP. Notes have been sent home and are on our
website. The bus for swimming will be leaving school at 9:05am.
Students who miss the bus will not be able to remain at school as
staff will be at swimming so please be on time.
Last Wednesdays P&C Zoom Meeting
What a wonderful team of committed and knowledgeable parents.
Our meeting saw lots of rigorous conversation around current and
future plans. Thank you to the P&C for the wonderful contributions
you make to our school. Our next P&C zoom meeting will be held on
Wednesday 25 November, 5:30-6.30 pm. Please zoom in if you
would like to know a little bit more about what is happening around
our school.

Child Safety Handbook
The Child Safety Handbook has been produced by NSW Police
Legacy, together with its partners, for over 8 years. It aims to
raise awareness about risks to children and steps that can be
taken to protect and keep them safe. We urge parents and
carers to download the latest edition from the link,
https://www.policelegacynsw.org.au/resources/. You may like
to discuss the safety content with your children.
