The College does not operate or support any transport services and has no financial connection with any operators shown below.

The table is a summary of the main options available to students for travel by public transport (bus or train) for the academic year 2016/2017.

NB. The Essex County Council Post 16 Travel Pass for 2016/2017 will only be granted by Essex County Council where their criteria are satisfied e.g. a student has to be resident in Essex, travel in excess of 3 miles to College and the College is the nearest provider of the majority of their course at the time of Enrolment.

TRAIN TRAVEL INFORMATION Discounted rail travel is available on services operated by Abellio Greater Anglia. Season tickets should be purchased online from www.greenrailtravel.co.uk or contact

Abellio Greater Anglia on 0345 600 7245 (Option 3, Option 2) 09.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday. Details on how to apply will be available at enrolment from the General Office. Payments are made by credit or debit card and the ticket will be posted directly to your home address . These tickets cannot be purchased at stations. Applications for rail season tickets cannot be made until the student has enrolled at College and has been issued with a Student Card application form. This form has a thirteen digit number on it.

When purchasing a season ticket you will need to quote the last seven digits of this number. Please ensure that you have your photograph taken at enrolment for this purpose. An application for a season ticket can then be made on line or by phone later that day. Keep your copy of the Student Card application form with your season ticket until the Student Card has been issued.
